During the MCAT, I vomited during my break. I informed ******* staff and was told to reschedule or continue. I continued but voided due to repeated vomiting. I later found out this was due to food poisoning from my breakfast. Before the exam, I explained to AAMC via email my pattern of sickness while trying to schedule. I have been actively seeking care & given resources to manage my possible sickness so I can test. I called the AAMC the Monday after the exam. I was met with limited support & information on how to proceed. I reached out again via email. I was told to fill out a test interference form. I completed the form & sent documents while in the hospital for a family emergency. I had impending deadlines, which I explained multiple times, & I needed to speak to someone who could help me get my attempt back as soon as possible. I asked to discuss my case over the phone, but this was never acknowledged. I am disappointed by the lack of comprehension regarding my situation & needs, evidenced by emails not being considered fully. In my first email, I stated, “I urgently need a testing attempt back,” in response, I was not told to fill out the appeal request but instead the test interference form. I submitted the form within five days of my exam. AAMC denied my refund & told me to fill out another form for a testing attempt. I was not given a reason for being denied. This past January, I was refunded for an exam when I developed an infection before my exam & submitted documentation. This situation has me behind on deadlines, negatively impacting my commitments. I request a comprehensive resolution. Firstly, I am seeking a refund for the exam. I ask the AAMC to reevaluate my June exam & provide a score range of my performance. This information is vital for me to present my abilities to programs, preventing further delays promptly. Thank you for your understanding & consideration. I look forward to a timely response to rectify this situation. AAMC ID:********

I am writing to get attention and resolution to my AMCAS application online a service run by AAMC. I am a repeat applicant and I see significant change in calculation of my GPA which is hurting my chances of getting into any of the schools I applied to. The agency calculated my GPA last year without taking my high school courses into account as they do not matter for the application. This year they have significantly lowered my GPA by almost 2 points, by calculating my high school courses and in my multiple conversations with the Customer service team, they are telling me it has not been taken into account but if thats the case my GPA calculation is wrong disadvantaging me. I have tried to submit the calculation and there is no one in the verification department who will heed to the request submitted by customer service on my behalf and they keep closing my ticket saying its a verified application and will not reopen it. But they have made a mistake affecting my life and they need to take responsibility. my application was submitted in June 4th and paid over $2000 for all colleges I picked based on their calculation metric. I need a resolution where someone takes this case and reviews the problem and properly calculates my GPA removing the high school courses. Attaching the calculations and all my correspondence to the customer service.

I registered for the **** examination of my son ******************************* on 18th April 2022 with ******* ***. He appeared for the examination on the scheduled date (14th may 2022). His Drivers license was checked and was allowed to enter the examination hall. However, when he was about to start the test, he recognized that my name (*********************) was on the testing computer. He spoke to the official who in turn spoke to the ******* *** (test administering company). He was asked to go home. As a result, the testing company did not provide its service. I am not sure how my name was in the system, in place of his name. It is possible that I have entered my name in the name of the candidate inadvertently. When I spoke, the company declined to make a refund and I have paid again for the same test. My sons name *******************************, AAMC ID ******** ******** ****** **

AAMC is stealing money from people who have issues on exam day. Each exam, which is run by a computer program, by the way, it cost $325 I drove all the way to the testing site which was a 30-minute ferry ride and an hour drive to the site believing my passport was still within my purse only to find out as I got to the parking lot that is wasn't. I arrived 30 min prior to the exam as directed. I provided every card in my wallet including my student ID for the University of **********. I would completely understand if someone just completely didn't show up to the exam they paid $325 for but to be told that they would be stealing the money I paid for the exam only to be told that I should have rescheduled 10 days ago. What part of I literally pulled into the parking lot after an hour and a half commute says I wasn't prepared to take it. The fact that the people testing future doctors are steel from people when something happens the day off instead of working with them to reschedule is theft and should be treated as such.
