Feel scammed and warranty not honored. Out of pocket cost deductible required, not including, the separate diagnosis test fees before and then decided if its covered. This place new it was flawed from the get go.Sold me a car with messed up vin, and flawed dmv report.

Customer financed a 2013 Ford Focus with a 12 months/12000 miles warranty from Credit Acceptance in July of this year. Recently in October the customer brought the vehicle in with concerns of the Check Engine Light appearing, wear and tear items and a list of cosmetic issues. After the customer realized they had a $100 deductible and possible out of pocket expenses related to diagnostics or items not covered by their warranty they declined having anything done and left. Credit Acceptance warranty claims have to be submitted for review and approval. Outside of the customer's warranty they are entitled to a 20% labor discount for services completed at Eastern Shore Auto Repairs for as long as they own the vehicle.

I purchased a car on 5/23/24. The car ran okay for about a month, and then started having problems. Took car into the dealer with a few miles left on the warranty. They took a look at it and said they needed me to leave it overnight. I asked for a loaner car, so I could get home and back. Less than 25 miles round trip. I was told they don't issue loaner cars, yet when I researched their reviews, I saw where they did. I asked the lady at in the shop to talk to the manager. He said they don't have any cars {their lot had at least 100 cars on it}. So I paid my 110.00 service fee, and took the car to a shop down the street. In less than 3 months, the car needed a new catalytic converter and new belts. Total out of pocket cost 2600.00. After that repair, car started having problems again. Today I'm being tool that it needs a new thermostat, breaks {and possible compressor}. Total cost another would be 2,000, if not more. By far the worst car I have ever had. I am not saying that ES Motors is all bad. Their sales staff was amazing. The front desk woman in the shop was exceptionally nice as well. What I don't understand is, when a client who buys a car {in cash} and brings it back for repairs, they wouldn't work with me on that. Having a disabled wife who cannot drive, all I was asking for was a car to get me home and back for repairs. Yet, I was denied. I buy a used car {in cash} every 2 years. ES Motors has lost my business. And while you won't find any great deals there, they are competitive. Again, not all bad, But you may want to do your due diligence.

On July 1st the vehicle was brought in with concerns of a Check Engine Light appearing with a P0420 code but the catalytic converters were performing normally at the time with all monitoring systems resetting properly and the Check Engine Light being cleared. If the light returned further diagnostics would be required or the same code could indicate the catalytic converter had failed. The customer has not called or come back to the garage with any other complaints. Outside of the 3 months/3000 miles powertrain warranty the customer is also entitled to a 20% labor discount with Eastern Shore Auto Repairs for as long as they own the vehicle; meaning their labor cost drops from $99 an hour to $80 an hour. As for loaner vehicles, ES Motors is a used car dealership and do not offer rental services and no rental services are covered by the warranty.

Don’t buy a car here. I had my car for a one month and a half and had mechanical problems over $2000 worth of problems. They were not nice they were not cooperative they did not wanna take responsibility for the warranty coverage. They had my car for four days in the shop, picked my car up after I had to travel from Maryland to Delaware two times and I was driving home the day of the repairs my windshield wipers would not work and the windshield fluid when I turned it on would not stop flooding. My windshield almost had a car accident on 404. Called them when I got home and they will not take responsibility for whatever they did on my car for four days mechanically under the hood affected something in the electrical system and they will not take responsibility I have an attorney I reported them to the Better Business Bureau add consumer protection add FCC. Uncalled for the way, they treat customers and rip people off

Jacqueline Mathews purchased a 2012 Chevy Cruze with 136,533 miles from ES Motors on July 7, 2023 with a Basic 3 month/3,000 miles powertrain warranty with a $1500 limit from Eastern Shore Auto Repairs (ESAR). On September 9th Ms. Mathews brought the vehicle in with 138,595 miles for concerns of a coolant leak and ESAR found the oil pump housing gasket leaking. Gaskets/seals are not covered by the basic warranty. Within 24hrs ES Motors/ESAR and Jacqueline Mathews came to an agreement to apply the entire $1500 warranty value towards this $2,155 repair as a one time courtesy with the understanding that the warranty would be exhausted. Vehicle arrived September 18th for service with the windshield severely damaged from an impact located at the bottom left with several cracks across the glass in multiple directions, customer declined to address this damage at this time. The oil pump housing gasket replacement began September 19th and was completed September 21st with the customer's out of pocket expense being $481.04 instead of $655. The following day Ms. Mathews voiced concerns about the windshield wipers not functioning correctly and the windshield washer fluid was spraying constantly while the wiper switch was turned on. It was explained at this time and every phone call or email since that ESAR can diagnose the wiper issue but if the failure was not related to the replacement of the oil pump housing gasket then it will be an out of pocket expense. Currently, the customer has refused to bring the vehicle in for diagnostics and continues to harass, threaten and/or insult members of management and/or the businesses.

I had a great experience working with Charity and David when we purchased our car. We even changed our minds on which car we wanted after buying it taking it home & do all the paperwork. When we called 2 days later asking if we could exchange it for another car on the lot and they said YES. I was very surprised that they were so accommodating. They made the buying process very easy and convenient. I highly recommend them when looking to buy a used car.
