I paid 21.95 first then was charged 34.95 for 2 months. All those months I never received a receipt of charge. That tells me it’s a secret scam and they don’t want people to see that they charge them then they claim that you need a denial letter for a refund but they know that’s never gonna happen. The guy on the phone was incredibly rude when I stated my confusion. He had an attitude and everything. Also even if I did want to cancel, there’s no way to do that and when you call the guys speaks super fast, puts you on hold or just hangs up. I found so many complaints online with the same issues all over the BBB and Reddit. Give me my money back. Also he is incredibly unprofessional. - I have been unknowingly subscribed to their services since Dec 23,2022 and recently canceled. - It was my fault for not checking my credit card statement. Issues with USAFundingApplications.org and why I believe I receive a refund: - I utilized their services 0% of the time I was subscribed. A low utilizing customer should deem, out of "good will" for a business being in business since 2008 to put the customer first and issue a refund for a customer that has not used their services. I also never applied for a grant. - They do not email payment receipts. I wasn't even issued an email stating I signed up. Customer service agent Juan stated "they don't have to send email receipts." A business since 2008 would have received customer feedback and I'm sure other customers have complained about this yet they have not changed. - False advertising. Proof is within attachments. They claim "we have to charge a registration fee" that is set at $34.95. Yet they do not state it's a monthly reoccurring fee (alongside the registrations fee), unless you click and go through their "terms and services" link. This is false advertising as many customers would feel it's a one time payment and not a monthly reoccurring charge. - They are unwilling to refund me the total amount since the inception of my subscription. - Customer service agent Juan stated "we state clearly it's a monthly charge," yet stated in the attachment you can see it's not clear at all unless you click within "terms and services."Business Response

Today, 9/11/2024, I was looking for a grant to help me start my small business, I clicked their google add, was given a questionnaire to fill out about what I was looking for. They made it seem like they were going to show me possible grants that could help me from the information i already put into the system, but once on, i STILL had to try and search for it myself, and this is not what they made it sound like when signing up. so, i canceled 20 minutes later, (i have the timestamped emails to prove it) and was told i could only get my money back if i got rejected. I said i can also get my money back if I am not using your service and they wouldn't. they can offer me a $25 courtesy refund, but thats it. I feel this whole thing was set up like a scam. they got my money, but there was nothing on the site that I could use, even though I gave them the information BEFORE i logged in and gave them my money. so, they are telling me i have to apply and get rejected before i can get my money back. But there is nothing for me to apply for. DEFINITION of a scam. And the icing on the cake, i called customer service, they eventually sent me to a voicemail box that was full. I will be contesting this charge with my credit card company since i have the emails of immediate cancelation. And not, instead of trying to find grants or finding, I am stuck doing this and waiting for a credit card charge to clear before i contest it. I don't HAVE time or money to spend on this, thats WHY I was looking for grants.Business Response

I was looking for grants to start my business on this site and got a call from someone this morning. It was a missed call so I called it back and the guy immediately answers "*****, I'm going to run through this real quick" and asked what I was looking for. I told him my own business startup and he said "great" then "hey can you pay $21 today, then if you get rejected you get that money right back" and "go back again and again and apply, just keep applying to anything and everything". He told me "ok we're going to do this now, go to your email and I sent you a link, click on that and pay - visa or mastercard?" I opened the link and he kept talking and after about 10 seconds said "did you get that payment information in?" I said I feel like you're rushing me and he said not rushing you ma'am just go ahead and put that card in. I said no, you are rushing me. Then he just hung up.Business Response

On 5/13/2024 I paid $34.95 to view this website of grants available, for 30 days "free". I paid to file a grant (which I found 1 grant to apply for I thought, on the opening page) though it wasn't quite clear exactly what I was paying for at that point however, a gentleman called me on the phone immediately after I paid, speaking so fast I wasn't even able to jot notes down that fast. He did tell me that at the end of 30 days, I would pay $34.95 which is too expensive for me, so I was going to tell him to cancel and return my $34.95 right then as I wouldn't go any further, but he was so quick I couldn't do that fast enough! A few days later when I had a chance, I called to cancel and asked for my refund because I knew I wouldn't have the time to use this website. I was told the only way to get a refund is to be denied a grant after you apply. I asked about the 30 day "free" trial and they told me that was what the $34.95 was for. I was able to look around for 30 days. The man even said even though I was canceling, i would be able to look through the grants for 30 days however, that wasn't true either. I was "locked out" immediately upon my cancelling. I cancelled to make sure there would be no additional fees. This whole "membership" where in the beginning they don't tell you it's a "membership" that they charge you monthly for however, the only way to get your money back is to apply for a grant, be denied and send all the information to them to have your money returned "immediately"!! That part they tell you. I am assuming I will never hear from the 1 grant I applied for. This whole "grant" thing is a scam!Business Response

I signed up for this website to apply for women in business grants, as I am currently unemployed from layoffs and the strike. The website seemed credible from the ".org" and I quickly signed up as they have a money back guarantee. Upon getting into it, it looked very unprofessional and shady, so I did some research and quickly found out that many customers have complained about authorized charges, not honoring the money back guarantee, etc. I requested a refund since my charge was still pending and I had no utilized the services at all. They ignored me at first and just canceled the membership. I followed up and they offered me $25. of the 34.95 or to utilize the money back guarantee. I won't be doing that because I am no longer comfortable with them having my credit card information or any of my personal information. This sounds like a great case for identity theft if I start filing out their forms to get $35 back after reading these reviews. As I originally stated, I wanted to resolve this amicably but I am also ready to fight this if needed.Business Response

Opened an account through USA funding applications. Was told that if I did not receive a grant, that my money would be refunded. Instead, my bank account was continually charged each month with no contact from the company. When I called to get my money refunded, i was told that they are only a service and that i was supposed to do more steps like keep filing for more grants (that I'm not eligible for). The instructions are vague and misleading. In my opinion this is nothing but a scam to trick people in giving them access to bank accounts so they can continue to draw out money without providing any product. He told me the only way my money can be refunded is if i have a verification of denial of the grant. when i asked him how do i find that, he told me that his company is only a service and do not provide that information.Business Response

I was told that if the grant didn’t happen that I would get this money back and that I could cancel at anytime. I am trying to cancel or call them and the number takes me to a request for a call.
