      I was planning to buy an auto-protection plan and was in contact with Total Auto Protect (their name on their website). When they sent out the contract, I read it, and it was quite different than what had been presented in discussions with the agent, *** ****** *****************. I responded to *** and the company, telling them I would not sign that contract and wanted all connections and agreements terminated. They had already taken payment. I did not sign or return the contract. That all started on 1/21/2025. I have since sent multiple emails both to the company's email as listed on their website ([email protected]) and to *** ****** (***@totalautoprotect.com) asking for the appropriate documentation to officially terminate any verbal agreement and ask for my money back. I have also called the company's listed number (1-302-543-2145 and 1-877-708-0103) and *** ******'s number (1-302-295-0229). I actually spoke to *** ****** a couple times and told him of my wish to terminate. More recently, I have only been allowed to leave voicemails, as he does not respond. He originally told me the company would send the documents to cancel electronically, but when they didn't arrive in the promised 24 hours, he said they had sent them to my home address and would arrive in a few business days. They didn't arrive as promised, so I have been calling and emailing since. On Saturday, 2/14/25, I wrote a letter and mailed it from the post office via certified mail. Since 2/17/25 was a federal holiday, the letter probably won't arrive until 2/18 or 2/19. I want my money refunded. Please help. If the # requested in the next field is the number they had on the contract I didn't sign, that's what I put in the next field.

      Hello. I purchased an extended warranty from Total Auto Protect on 2/17/2023 in the amount of $2538.40. I have been unable to get response to a repair claim. On hold for two days for approximately 4 hours each day. The repair shop also has no luck in getting a response or call back.

      On February 13, 2023, I purchased a vehicle service contract with Total Auto Protect. I have a copy added to the complaint. I have tried to call for assistance the repairs for my car on several different occasions. The dealership and I has made calls on February 5, 2024, through April 15, 2024. Again, in November and December of 2024. I was put on hold for hours or transferred to a voicemail. The dealership and I left several messages, and no one returned the call. I cannot get through anyone. I want a refund due lack of communication and lying about a service contract is horrible and unfair. It cost me over $3,000.00 to get my car repaired on top of already paying for a service contract. I hope someone at the Better Business Bureau can assist me. Thank you in advance.

      I have a signed cancellation and release agreement for a vehicle warranty. The payment should have been made to me 60 days after signature (which was June). The company is refusing to respond to my emails and calls.

      I have two warranties with Total Auto Protect/ Total Auto Resellers. I have attempted to call for hours and no one has picked up the phone. I have emailed my claim Total Auto Protect and email regarding my motorcycle warranty claim. My motorcycle dealership has attempted to contact Total Auto Protect as well.

      Total Auto Protect sold me a 5 Vehicle Service Program on July 20 2022. The covered vehicle developed a mechancal issue in October 2023 and was brought to a repair shop. Based on the diagnostics, I reasonably believe that the largest issue discovered is covered under the terms of the program. The repair facility and I have made many multiple attempts to contact Total Auto Protect Claims via Phone, Email, Internet Contact Form and USPS to have them acknowledge and authorze the claim. They have been unresponsive. This incudes: > In excess of 500 Minutes on hold on the claims line, across a minimum of 20 contact attempts which I have logged. > Emails on 10/23, 10/25, 10/29, 10/30, 10/31, 11/1, 11/7 > Submission of claim form on their web site on 11/7 > Bu USPS to the buiness address listed on the agreement, and separately to the address listed on the BBB web site on 11/27 I have verified that the company is operatinonal by calling their sales line, which was answered immediately. Resolution sought is to authorize the claims (details below), and undertake to pay the repair costs for the covered items. I am also seeking a pro-rata refund of the remaining program fee for 2 years, 9 months. This BBB outreach is a last step before a civil complaint in the State of California where Total Auto Protect continues to actively sell its Vehicle Service Program. The Diagnostic/Estimate is: Diagnostic for 8 hours to remove both cylinder head covers and measured tappet/camshaft clearances. Total Labor = $2,920.00 After Diagnostic technician reports that all the bucket tappets need to be replaced. 75.0 hours labor. Total Parts = $1,214.46 (+ Tax) Total Labor = $28,470.00 After Diagnostic technician reports that Low pressure ASM hose kit (feed and return hoses) +15.0 Hoses cracked and leaking Total Parts = $625.68 (+ Tax) Total Labor = $6,205.

      Good afternoon- This is my 2nd request for cancellation of my Plan #TAP 61204122, effective 11/01/2024. I sold my 2017 Toyota Camry on 10/31/2024, and do not have a car at this time. I also, never used this plan nor ever placed any claims with this plan. I have also tried calling Total Auto Protection on 11/21/2024, 11/29/2024 and 12/03/2024 to speak with a representative to cancel my Plan with no one answering my call after hearing your recoding for at least 10 minutes each time. I am requesting a refund for the years remaining on this plan. I paid in full for a 5 year TAP Plan..       I have an EXTENDED warranty for my Ford F-150 with Total Auto Protect. Back in September of this year my service provider filed a claim and got an authorization (#AN7787099) in the amount of $447.50 to help cover the cost of repairs. In spite of multiple attempts to collect on it they were never paid. I had to cover this amount. I have tried ON MULTIPLE OCCASIONS to contact these people by phone, email and through their website. I have never heard back. I am sending a letter via the USPS with signature required at this time. You get put on hold for an hour and then it hangs up on you. I would like reimbursement and will be cancelling this contract.
