I hire this company in Dec 2023, I paid the company a total of $5003.95. The business committed to provide unlimited editing for my entire dissertation, Coaching support, (3 group coaching calls a week & 30 min 1:1, plus a support call once a month. *** assigned me a academic account manager, that was very unprofessional, they promised deadlines which later broke, terrible communication process, disregard of any grievances, failed to provide support calls or coaching. They completely ignore my request to discuss the issues. I have email the owner, the staff, the customer experience manager and sent them a copy of the service log I kept through the process. Not once, they have attempted to meet with me, call or respond via email to address their poor service. Last email was sent 20 April 2024, I received an automated message that someone will respond within ***** hours) , but no one ever called or respond to the email.Business response

Additionally this client has not booked a call with her client manager to discuss these concerns so we can resolve any issues. Hello, the emails went into my SPAM folder, and I never saw them until I started searching all my files this week. I responded to the company (attached). However, they requested evidence of me turning in the dissertation feedback to my chair and the chair notes back to them within 48 hours, in order to provide a refund. However, I waited close to a month for the first feedback, by then, my deadline had passed and I had to submit my own work to the chair. They didn't provide all the feedback they promised, nor turned in things to me in a timely manner. Additionally they wouldn't respond to the emails for weeks and no coaching services were provided. It is impossible to submit what they ask for if they didn't submit their part to me. How can I reopen this case?Customer response

On October 26, 2023, I paid $3000.00 to WritersER Inc through Mrs. ********************************* to help and guide me on chapter 4 of my Ph.D. dissertation. Mrs. ********************************* assigned to one Ms. ******* with the email address, *********************************** Ms. ******* promised to email my requested help and guidelines back to me not later than mid November, 2023. Shockingly, I have not received even one sentence from WritersER after paying the $3000.00. Additionally, there has not been any responses to all my calls, text messages, or emails in the last four months. WritersER services is no longer needed as the paper submission date is already past due. BBB, please, kindly help me recover the $3000.00 I paid to WritersER Inc. We then called client on the 30th after he stated he did not receive it and confirmed a new email to which we sent it again. A screenshot of the submission is attached. We have not received any request for revisions from this client since this time. We are happy to work with this client to fulfill the terms of our agreement. I work full-time. Im also pursuing a PhD ******* but currently writing my dissertation. Around Oct/Nov. 2023, an advert popped up on You tube. I noticed the advert had to do with writing a dissertation. This piqued my interest. I decided to watch it. This led to the link below: ****************************************, I watched a video on how the company - WritersER helps you get your dissertation approved in 6 months. Later, WritersER asked me multiple times if I still need help with my dissertation. ***** from WritersER phoned and briefly explained what WritersER does. She scheduled an online meeting for Fri. 11/24/23 where ******** explained the dissertation support program which costs about $12,000. It was grouped into 3 types. I hastily chose the 1st type with 6 instalments. I paid the 1st instalment of $1,942.00 (Invoice #:169) on the spot using my bank account. She sent me a contract and asked me to digitally sign. it there and then. On that weekend, I thought about the challenge to meet up the deals total cost - the University Fall term bill was still outstanding, and I equally needed to register for the Spring term in Jan. 2024. I had a meeting on Mon 11/27 with ********, who explained how to send documents for writing. Then, she arranged for me to meet with ******* the next day. In the meeting with ********, I raised the issue about cost, she dismissed it that she doesnt handle finance but ********. ******** said she would ask ******** to call me. ******** never did. On 11/28, I sent ******** an email about canceling the deal. In the afternoon, I had a meeting with ******* where she just discussed her role as a liaison between me and any Writer to be assigned to me by WritersER. On Wed 11/29, I sent an email to ***** but no response. Finally, on 11/30, I sent another email to ******** and copied Bakeitha. ***************, ******** never engaged with me. I have not yet taken their service and I want a refund, but they continue to send me invoices of arrears.Business response

Later, they said I should contact the through Client Success Advisor, even though they did not provide any contact details. What Im asking for is my refund and the case would be closed.I have followed up with our department and confirmed the details you provided. We are now making arrangements to resolve this matter promptly. This is a quotation from the WritersER email on the 15th of May. They confirmed that I did not utilize any of their services, yet they are asking me to close the complaint first, then place a call with their team. On what premise? All these appear to erode my confidence in their willingness to refund my initial payment of $1,942.

This issue happened in October of 2023, it has continued as I am trying to reverse a charge that the company made on our **************** card as WritersER did not provide any editing services. When they did send their "edited version" it was incorrect and arrived late. I had to make the edits myself to meet my school's deadline. I have many copies of emails and texts involving the account manager and the editor and even had a discussion with their salesperson (********), who did not assure me that they would do whatever it took to fix the issue, she just said that they would cancel the contract and hopefully that I could give them another chance, which there would never be a second chance given how irresponsible, unresponsive they are as an organization. Their ********** ************************************ never once reached out to apologize or to remedy the issue hence, why I am and will continue to add negative reviews so that they do not abuse their privileges and continue to scam other students or vulnerable individuals that need help with their dissertation work. This company is having a lot of issues and from other reviews that I have read, they are not a legitimate editing services company. They are continuously scamming people and not delivering on what they say on their website. I am not sure who those individuals are that they have as testimonials that they have helped many complete their dissertations. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER FOR ANY EDITING SERVICES.Business response

We are more than happy to fulfill the requirements of our contract as outlined in the previously attached documents that have bee signed and agreed to by this client. Per the signed contract we do not provide refunds outside our guarantee and outside the terms as outlined in the signed contract. We are willing to do whatever it takes to deliver on those terms as provided in the signed contract. If we do not deliver on those terms and documentation required is provided only then will a refund be due. This was the first email I received regarding any response from WritersER. As per their agreement, they are not an honest company and are very aggressive with getting a person to sign documents but do not go over the document details with clients. I am not satisfied with this response as their staff is incompetent and not responsive to any inquiries about things not working. They feel that communicating through phone text is appropriate for the level of support they claim they provide. This is not $100 transaction. This is a $1700+ charge on services they cannot deliver. If they have hundreds of satisfied customers then why are they so many complaints similar to my complaint online and through other review tools. I am very suspicious of this company as you never hear them reach out to personally speak to their dissatisfied customers/clients. They are very aggressive about getting you to sign up and only want to speak to you about their services if you "guarantee" that you will move forward and pay them immediately for services that you do not really know that they provide, but their sales team is very assuring that they are a professional company and can complete Dissertations, edit them or even write them for clients. They cannot even deliver on basic editing of page numbering and spell check. This is when I called the sales representative to tell her how disappointed and disgusted I was with their service and all she said was to give them another chance. I am trying to complete my Dissertation and do not have time for to do extra work chasing their writer around to meet my deliverables. *****, I did not want to continue or give them a second chance.

WritersER did not provide any of the promised or guaranteed benefits for using their services. They did not provide any content review, or editing. They do not respond to my emails and I have not received anything back from them when they tell you that you will hear back in two weeks. I have been requesting a refund and I have been ignored and have no response. This company should be closed down because it’s services are fraudulent and they have no accountability for services done in good faith. Although they are a writing service, they do not use writers with training. I can tell because I had to have what they returned edited by another company. This company is a scam. I have no problem communicating with the business if they would respond. Consistent communication does not require the client to have to consistently contact them. The draft that was sent to me was ten pages when the draft I sent was over 20 pages, so they did not return or complete the full draft. I have gone weeks without a response and have not had one since the date mentioned of August 15th except to tell me that I would receive the draft shortly which I did not receive, that was on August 16th. I since sent two additional emails, one on the 31st and another on September 1st. So the person who responded is either unaware of the communication or is not responding in good faith. Please see the screenshots attached to see the consistent communication on my part, not theirs, and I did not include text messages that I sent as well.
