      First and foremost, no one spends 2 hundred dollars to receive poor quality food and horrible service .I was at that location July 19th, 2023 at 3:00pm. The food had absolutely no taste and no salt. I ate because I was super hungry. The service was horrible. The waitress never offered for refills and the wait, (even though there were only few people) it was ridiculous. A table that arrived 45 minutes after us, left about 1/2 hour before us. The cherry on top of the cake, was the waitress not giving back my card. 9:30pm my husband is driving 1/2 hour to be able to retrieve my card because we are driving back home at 5:00am. Shame on you for your food and bad service

      I have previously sent a complaint directly through the website on July 1st when we attended with all the information from my receipt and was told I would hear back within ***** hours and I have heard nothing and I think its very important that this is known. From the first time my family and I sat down, I noticed the table was still dirty. When I received the high chair to sit my son in, the chair still was covered in rice from the child whom was in it before. The waitress mixed up my drink with somebody elses and also wrote the orders down with the crayon when she realized she left her pen. When taking down the orders I advised her that we do not want vegetables in our fried rice. She said okay. Which she failed to relay and advised the cook that we wanted no mix vegetables which was not correct. She also bought our salads out not on a tray, but between her fingers holding all four bowls. When it comes to the cook, as soon as he came to the table he said Im going to skip all the theatrics, you all look hungry I advised him I have a one year old son, we came for the theatrics. He said hes not going to want that after this insinuating my son was going to be scared when he lit up the grill, which my son loves. He didnt even turn the light on above the grill. He went straight into cooking. I advised him also once I seen him dump the vegetables in that we did not vegetables and he said thank god I know what ** doing because the waitress told him different, when he STILL in fact gave my son vegetables in his rice and we did not get any mixed vegetables. My fianc and I got double rice and when I saw him making the rice because the amount he had on the side for us did not look like enough, I reminded him because he did NOT read the orders back to us. He said I know. There was not enough rice and he had to pick at the others rice and because of that we ended up with vegetables in our rice. At this point I was very frustrated that once he was finished, my family and I took our food to go. Which then we had to wait another 30 minutes for the waitress to bring our boxes, check AND fix our check because there were drinks on there that we did not order. Nobody was paying attention and it was very disappointing because we were there the weekend before and had an amazing time! From the waitress, the cook and the presence of the restaurant alone was disgusting.

      We visited the restaurant and had a 3 hour wait. They completely messed up our order. This was for my granddaughters birthday. We had a party of 7. We asked to speak with a manager and they claim none was available. They were rude and under staffed it was a total disaster.I have written to them 3 times and still no response.

      On 5/28/2023, we had reservations for dinner and the hibachi show. The chef assigned to us barely spoke any English and could not answer any questions I asked him. He did one trick otherwise all he did was prepare our food. After he finished cooking, he must have realized he forgot to do the show and tried doing two things at the very end but it was too late as people were already eating their food and my children were not interested at all because he didn't do anything that he was suppose to be do. We had to look at another hibachi grill if we wanted to see any type of show. We came for our ****************************************************************************************************************************** the downstairs portion of the restaurant for a lot less or went to another hibachi that would have performed a show. Included with our bill was a 20% gratuity that I wouldnt have mind paying if we actually received the services we paid for. The two patrons we ate with also were very unhappy with the lack of performance and the food and left without even finishing their food and provided me their information as witnesses to what had happened. I filed a complaint on the company's website on 6/1/2023 seeking resolution of this problem, and Ive heard nothing back

      We had dinner on June 12 at Benihana in Boca. while paying our bill we had a $***** gift card. The waitress came back to ** and said I said insufficient funds. When I went back to the hotel I called ***** They informed me that in fact is was used at the restaurant. I called Benihana and spoke to a gentlemen named *****. First he denied it. I sent him all the information..Copy of the bill with no ***** credit. I have paperwork that the card was swiped there. He has been dodging phone calls. I have tried to settle this. We just want our money refunded

      I went into Benihana in **********, ** on 5/24 around 6:15pm and dined in with a friend. I ordered ****** choice and also paid for my friends order and ended up taking most my food to go. The next day I tried to eat my leftovers and noticed that most of the chicken wasnt cooked all the way through and was fleshy in the middle. Upon this discovery I called the location at 12:36p on 5/25/23 and spoke with a manager named ******. I explained the situation and was offended by his response. He never apologized and he made several rude comments to me. He stated that he doesnt know how he could help me, he couldnt verify the condition of my food because hes not with me and that I could just heat it to 165 degrees to cook it through. I find this to be unacceptable for a manager to tell me to cook food that I already paid $40 to be cooked! I find this interaction with the manager to be more upsetting than the initial issue. I have never had such poor customer service in my life. He treated me as if I created this issue and he had zero empathy. All I wanted was an apology and maybe a replacement. I do not feel valued as a customer. Mistakes happen but there is no reason to ever treat a customer this way when they report an issue.

      on 5/19/23 went to Benihana in *******, ** for a birthday dinner for a party of 7. Made a complaint with manager, ******. told him about Food was salty, scallops were extra small, looked like they were cut i half and we were given a dirty fork with food stuck in it. Final Bill was $521.37. This included an 18% gratuity of $75.08. When I receive my Bill spoke to manager, ****************************, who was very rude and unprofessional, that I was charged a gratuity on my bill. Benihana's policy, printed in the menu, says for a party of 8 or more guest an 18% gratuity will be added. I only had 7. Police was called because she refused to honor her company's policy. I was forced to pay the bill. I was Embarrassed and humiliated for the treatment received at this establishment.

      I took my two kids to Benihana in Springdale on 5/18/2023 as I had a birthday gift certificate for $30 for the chef's club. As we walked in the restaurant you can see the roof or awning is crumbling and in need of desperate repair. We had a reservation (which can be verified through Open Table) at 6:45 and were not seated until 7...(ok I understand but it was not busy). When we got there we were told to wait in the lounge area which smelled of mildew and was just grimy and filthy. When we finally sat down at our table, and the chef came out to cook, and there was a GREEN shrimp which nobody seemed to notice. I said something TWO times and on the second time the chef seemed annoyed with me, blamed the restaurant and just pushed the shrimp off to the side. He did not bother getting a new batch of shrimp or apologize or seem worried the shrimp was bad. The restaurant was FILTHY! My feet stuck to the carpet from the grime. The over head vents were not working properly so all the smoke was blowing in our face. I have been to other hibachi restaurants and it has never been that bad. Last, we went to use the restroom before we left and all the pipes are corroded and green. I should have known immediately to walk out with all the red flags from the beginning. Luckily no one in my family was sick last night but I have serious questions/doubts about the quality of their kitchen considering the quality and the state of the rest of the restaurant. I have complained on Benihana's website, as well as reported them to the **************** of ******* My bill was $91 for two meals and drinks, then I tipped another 18%. After going home and thinking about this, the green shrimp threw me over the edge, as I should have complained last night. I would like a refund as this is just unacceptable. It's a shame because this used to be such a good dining experience.

      I had a reservation for 8:30 I did not leave the restaurant until 11:30 at night. NO MANGER was in the building! My friend ordered a lemon drop it was a BUG in the lemon drop. My friend ordered a mock tail because she is 7 months pregnant it has ALCOHOL IN IT! She asked for it to be replaced it was never replaced. The drink that my other friend ordered was suppose to be in a large cup it was in a small cup and she got charged 17 dollars for it. NEXT the chef did not do anything special he cooked raw steak with raw chicken. He never separated the meats or changed the utensils. When we said something he didnt apologize or fix the issue. He cooked the noddle's with raw chicken and the noddle's was suppose to have steak instead of getting fresh noddle's he removed the chicken and put the steak. I ordered sushi and it was wrong two times!!! I said no cucumber. The first time it had cucumber the second time one sushi still had cucumber so that let me know they didnt remake it they just decided to pick the cucumber out. WHAT ABOUT I WAS ALLERGIC TO CUCUMBER!!! This restaurant is unsafe!!! We ordered chicken fried rice and got very small portions of rice and meats. The shrimp appetizer is supposed to be 6 whole small shrimp the cook cut up the shrimp and it was just 6 small pieces! When we asked for extra stuff, we got told the kitchen was closed and shut down! *** worked at 3 restaurants WHY WOULD YOU SHUT THE KITCHEN DOWN and it was still 7 guests there! The bar also closed down we did not receive the experience that we deserved for the money we spent. Our server kept forgetting about us. He was the only server and it was a lack of cooks. You guys are money hungry. You will allow as many guests to come in to get paid but will not offer great service to your guest! Everybody order was messed up at our table. Our server rushed us because he was ready to go home. I will be writing reviews everywhere because I am so fed up with this location. Benihana should be shut down
