    Received my thermostat 12/18/2023. I noticed it was the wrong part, I immediately contact Amazon to return the product. I send it back to learn these people are taking the ENTIRE cost of the product as a restocking fee. I get $32 back for the taxes. I contact the seller, they say contents were missing, everything was sent. Reading reviews theyve said this about numerous people.

    Good morning and thank you for notifying us of this fraudulent return case opened with BBB.  Attached are the files showing that ***** returned a used item, a wifi thermostat for an air conditioner after he realized the thermostat he installed would not work and was not compatible with his system.  ***** requested the item back as confirmed in the messages , we provided our address for pick up for *****' return label.  It is against Amazon Policy to return used, materially different items - as is the policy in any store, brick & mortar or online.  Regards, ****
