This vendor collected payment on behalf of a venue. They were supposed to promote the event that my business was attending. I paid them $200 and the next day they severed ties with the venue. A few days before the event they lied and said that the event had been cancelled due to bad weather. When I asked for a refund they kept responding that they will look into it but never did. This company is a total scam and should be avoided at all costs. They rip off small businesses and s**** over their event partners. Extremely unethical.

I paid Florida Shoppers Market a vendor fee of $60.00 on 10/18/2023. The market was supposed to take place on 11/26/23. I sent numerous emails leading up to the event to inquire about set up and other information. The only email I received was an automated email on 11-14-23 stating someone would be in touch with me with no follow up on their end. I called the venue the day before show and was told by the owner that Florida Shoppers Market never got back in touch with them. Over 2 months ago I paid for a show that never happened. I sent an email day of cancelled show. I was told that vendors were contacted about cancellation, but no one ever contacted me with this information. I received an email about a refund but that has been over two weeks ago. I wanted to bring this to your attention. Hopefully no one else gets scammed by these people.

The Florida Shoppers Market is an event coordinating service for Vendor Markets. I paid $125.00 for a table at this vendor market. For this fee the event group was supposed to advertise and promote the event. This was a special Christmas in July themed event. When we arrived to set up it looked like a warehouse and even with he vendors in place it looked like a yard sale instead of an event. Upon arrival we discovered that there was no onsite personnel from the event group. They had instead comped the vendor fee for one of the attending vendors and she checking names off of a list as we all arrived. We inquired what table was ours and we were instructed to just find one. It was a free for all, as a result many of the Gold and *** vendors were denied their "special" locations that were promised to be high traffic areas. One of the *** vendors was located behind us out of the traffic flow in a corner, she was very upset, unfortunately with no event coordinator onsite she found no resolution, She shared with us that she had filed a charge back with paypal to the event and the event company refused to work with her, yet she felt stuck because she had all baked goods and needed to sell something in order to recoop her $250. There was no signage directing anyone to the event outside or inside, they did not post anything on the mall webpage as promised or the malls social media, none of the mall personnel knew what was going on. Of the approx 40 vendors on day one (that about a third left between 2pm and 6pm, only 11 returned on Sunday. I reached out to ******************* of CKM ********** and he told me he would give me a credit for another event, why would I want to do another of their events? He blamed the mall for no signage and poor setup inside or out( funny thing is he could have fixed that if he had been there, he claimed they promoted but we saw nothing. I have copies of emails and PM with extremely unprofessional language from *******************.
