My MDVIP Physician is great but the MDVIP accounting department has some serious operational issues. Every paying period they send me an erroneous email informing me that my quarterly payment didnt post. I make hundreds of online payments every year through *************** and never have any issues except with MDVIP. Before looking for the missing $$$$ please fix your dysfunctional accounting department!!!

I joined and was scheduled to see a doctor in about 30 days after my membership started, that visit was rescheduled so I waited another 15 days. When they confirmed that appointment, I was sick with shingles. They said you can't come in with shingles. I thought well if I can't come in when I'm sick why do I have you.So I went to my regular doctor who took care of me. I then asked for a refund of my quarterly $450 since I had never seen a MDVIP doctor. They said they would only refund 30 days worth as that was the time remaining on my 3 month membership. I still haven't seen any refund.Their service was not great for me since I never saw a doctor.

For private and government insurance plans ******************* it is illegal to charge a patient more than the patient share of the "allowable" fee. MDVIP's annual fee may well be illegal. They claim, it is for services other than medical care such as nutrition/diet/exercise online guides that are very similar to those available through a ****** search. They also claim they have a CHD stress test that is superior to the standard test, but when last reviewed there was no peer-reviewed study backing the claim in a respected medical journal.

Concierge Practices have definite advantages in terms of time and communication with your personal physician and their staff. Users of this service as well as the physicians involved should be aware, however, that MDVIP as an organization is VERY INACCESSIBLE in terms of any part of a clients membership that is not connected with the actual physician. Long wait times on the phone for current members and no return contact from messages left on their website. Very difficult to update your information or settle billing problems, and have had to resort to using the New Member prompts just to speak with a human. Theres nothing VIP about this. They are, however, always prompt in sending you your annual billing statement.

Excellent care and service. My wife and I have been members of a practice up north and transferred our membership to a local affiliate when we moved south. Both practices had a wonderful staff that was helpful and provided excellent communication. We've never had issues with payments for our membership but then again we understand that we're making a commitment for a year when we renew each time.

This company appears to be a scam. I sent an online inquiry and received calls from sales people and I returned their call. The woman was extremely rude, and was evasive and unprofessional. She refused to provide any specific information for any actual benefits or terms, but she said several times that they offer private care from a private network of doctors and offer concierge medical care. When pressed the woman admitted they do not actually offer concierge service and their doctors may have as many as 600 patients! Further investigation shows at least some of their doctors are just regular physicians with regular patient loads practicing in their regular offices who just joined this network for extra money. You get almost nothing for $2k+ except for a physical and an online portal which most doctors have now already.
