After reviewing my bank account I realized that I have been charged $94.95 for *** insurance for a healthcare plan through *********, from CFXHealth a.k.a ********* through broker Tobias & Associates, since September 2022 up to today. I received a contact number to call from my bank as I had no information on these reoccurring charges. CFXHealth is a third party vendor that collects funds on behalf of agent Tobias & Associates. I called CFX @ ************ and they gave me a member id number and gave me the contact information for the agent who supposedly sold me this *** insurance. I went ahead and had the **** policy" collected through *** on behalf of Tobias & Associates, as that was all they could do for me. *** advised me to call the agent, Tobias & Associates, for any other issues. *** could not provide me with any documentation proving I purchased this *** policy back in 2022. I contacted Tobias and Associates @ ************ and spoke with the customer service manager who told me that they had a recorded call on file that would prove I purchased the *** insurance but he could not provide me with it as it goes against *****. I asked for any other proof and he said they had nothing that he could send me proving this was not fraudulent. I asked how could he resolve this issue with me and he advised me there was nothing he could do for me and I was welcome to sue the company if I wished to do so. I did not sign up for a *** healthcare plan and I have been fraudulently charged since 2022.Business Response

I applied for *********** through a ************** service. The mans name was ******* *****, and the phone number provided was **************. In February 2023, I tried to get healthcare for my wife and two kids, but after one of my kids became ill, I found out I did not have any insurance for my kids at all. I had been paying $223/mo, $70/mo, and $178/mo for the insurance that I was told was covering my children and my wife. This was for Dental/Vision, Health Insurance, and a supplemental insurance that was supposed to cover the people I listed. Upon finding out my kids had no health insurance, I called the marketplace to get it figured out. This was in May 2024. I asked them to cancel all the other plans that I had, and put us on a new plan that would cover my wife and children. We continued paying $70/mo and 223/mo up until 11 November 2024, when I called AGAIN to get those charges cancelled. I had been told that the new plan we got was covering my wife and kids, but it got cancelled because of a payment issue back in April 2024. However, we were still paying for the old insurance plan, and my wife was able to be seen by her provider because of this reason. I found out that this $223 was a supplemental plan that I could not legally use in the state of *****. I want to be reimbursed for this money that I was lied and coerced into purchasing for the profit of a healthcare salesmen. He knew I lived in ***** because he put us on a BCBSTx plan to start, but he did not give us anything we needed, and had me paying $400+ every month to cover my wife and kids, just to find out my kids were never under coverage, and we couldnt use the plan anyway.Business Response

My wife notice a $50 charge on her credit card from First Enroll-Health Plan on July 28th. She called ************** and spoke to "*******" who informed my wife that I had an insurance policy that started in March, 2024. "*******" said it was purchased through Tobias & Associates. She continued to connect her to Tobias & Associates. "*******" came back on the line and said to stay on the line because the music is really low and hard to hear. I was on hold for at least 10 minutes before they disconnected the line. I then tried calling "*******" back and have not been able to connect with anyone. I see online that this business is closed permanently. I fully believe we've been scammed by these people. My mother with progressive Alzheimers disease was coerced into purchasing a policy over the phone. Any reasonable rep speaking with my mother over the phone would know she is not capable of making such decisions. Additionally, her name is incorrect, address incorrect and email address incorrect. She was convinced into providing her debit card information over the phone and the monthly premium drafted from her account. How is this even legal without appropriate signatures. In the event we needed to access the policy, we would not be able to as everything is incorrect. I happen to notice the charge on her account and stumble across the paperwork. Her caregivers and POA need to be involved in this process. I am beyond livid and the agent (****************************) needs to be reprimanded and terminated. This is absolutely sad and ridiculous to pray in the vulnerable. Serving as a primary caregiver to a loved one is challenging and stressful in itself and to have to deal with this creates even more stress.Business Response

Date of fraud: November 2022 Amount they took: ******** I never agreed or even heard of this insurance company ************ Health. I have no insurance cards, paperwork from this company. They would not mail me any information that they said they had. I did not see money being taken out of my account until 3/29/2024. I called many times to advice them that I never ordered insurance from them and they need to refund me. Extremely rude, hung up on me many many times. They said I should have noticed that the money was being taken out. Then they would not answer my calls. Just kept me on hold over and over again and calls just keep getting dropped. I actually called their office with my client on the phone who told them I am his agent. They confirmed it was him by asking his date of birth etc and he told them I am his agent. Even though they have been told that they have gone in again and made the change. I will now have the ** department of insurance handle this. Along with NC BCBS and the marketplace. In *********************** healthcare to get coverage because I was unemployed and had no insurance...After almost dying that year...I was able to get some sight back and walking again after being diagnosed legally blind in both eyes (when I signed up) and I was home nursed for 3 months..after getting my walking back again. I then got a job at CVS at the end of the year 2021 and then called up get me healthcare and cancelled my insurance with them to join my work insurance which Aetna is CVS...I also did a stop payment with the bank card which was my bank account. I joined my work insurance in January 1st 2022. While get me healthcare kept me on ****** insurance anyway through the whole 2022 into this year in April 2023...When I went to HR BLOCK to do taxes in 2023 they caught it for 2022..as of right now..I am being charged around over ******* for 2022 and who knows for 2023..my tax pro says to *** this company..not only for money purposes but having ALOT of stress too. ****** insurance said that if my broker *********************** would've just sent them a letter saying that I cancelled based on my call and stop payment then they would have closed the premium payment to the **** Please stop this company and employee from doing this to another consumer..this has been a terrible experience.. We just canceled the contract which is below. I need the original documents that you have that he signed for. I did receive documents from the third party Imemberbill, and it is not his signature. I am rejecting this response because: My father was in a drug/rehab at the time. I have a POA and Medical POA for my dad *************************** rather he does sound ok, dementia does not necessary sound a certain way! He did not enroll him self in any medical plan such as the Amerigroup, someone had to call him or your company took the initiative to call him directly and sign my dad up. How did you get his cell number to call him originally, prior to the agent calling HIM back on the 5th to sign him up for a life insurance policy? I had just turned back on the cell phone May 3rd because I knew I was placing my dad in rehab and the VA allowed him to have a cell phone in the facility. He has a government phone line and many solicitors call to scam senior citizens targeting these government issued phones that are given based off income and I fell that is what took place here. Why did /do you have the wrong age on the life policy if he doesn't have dementia? Yes, he currently has United Health because I his daughter and caretaker was able to call and have the policy canceled on time prior to the policy for Amerigroup taking effect on June 1st.Your company needs to do better on soliciting calls to seniors or our veterans my dad suffers from mental health and what does that sound like? You would not know just by a phone call your only worried about numbers.

I was called by a lady named tearah lockkett who signed me up for regence blue shield of ***** i put it in quotations because it was a scam. I had called regence and they never found any of my information in the application process or the system. I had been charged and i had gotten an email from this lady but it was fake and from an icloud photo my banker had showed and reassured me it was a fake. I am extremely upset thinking I was getting health insurance but was tricked. I had gotten my dental/vision/hearing through aetna during the same phone call which ended up real (for now, were investigating because no paperwork ever came in especially after the length of time) but it is terrible someone would trick a 25 year old trying to get health insurance for the first time. She also had told me i would get emails from regence and an insurance card and papers in the mail but 2 and a half weeks later nothing. Also her email with all this info was just a normal gmail so also shown as a red flag (from my banker and many office coworkers). Especially that health *****.gov ******** service and REGENCE blue shield of ***** say I dont have any type of health insurance but payment was made. The health#s of ***** was the payment. Also, its concerning that she has all my info. Banker and fraud department said it shouldnt have been just an email photo but actual email with clicking links and such. Especially with the regence logo distorted in the left corner. She gave me numbers to contact and i have contacted all with no response. But the ******** service number shows to be to this company it was ************ so please get back to me about what happened and how I can cancel and get away from this and move on to another company far away.
