A charge account was opened in my name with Famous ******** *************** by someone other than myself. They made a charge of $59.98 on the card. When I received the bill I immediately filed a dispute. Over the months I have written 2 letters and left several messages to no avail. Now they have adversely affected my credit rating by posting this with the credit bureaus

We have never charged any client in the amount of $59.98. We have never received any correspondence from this client. She has made a mistake.

I was contacted back in February of 2020 and was told by a Representative that they were from ******* and that I needed to set up a payment plan of ****** for 3 mos to keep my student loans in forbearance. I made one payment of ****** on February 18, 2020. I just recently saw that there has been alot of backlash and complaints about this company saying they are a scam and I have read the reviews. I have been trying to contact this company for the past 2 months trying to get my payment refunded but no one never answers the phone. I'm to the point now that I'm going to dispute the charges with my bank. I still have text messages from the company confirming the payment and I have my bank statement showing the charges. I JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK AND THIS COMPANY NEEDS TO BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS FOR SCAMMING PEOPLE.

We completed the contractually agreed upon work almost 3 years ago.

Our reviews are the result of Naviet ( who has been sued by the federal gov't for misleading their customers and were forced to spin off into an another company for their Federal loans) pushing our clients to write them.

This company is a complete scam. I too was scammed out of my money with lies and misleading. I was contacting Greatlakes.org to inquire about my student loan payments and the woman on the other end of the call told me she was a representative for them. She claimed that she wanted to help me with my student loan forgiveness plan and that if I made three payments on my loan of $181.00 this month and next month, my payments will go down and I would qualify for the loan forgiveness program. She told me I needed to provide my SSN# and two most recent pay stubs. She told me that if anyone calls about my student loan, to tell them that she is my service person and she is handling everything and not to ask or discuss anything with them. After I was contacted by the U.S ********** of ********* that there was some suspicious activity on my account. I check my student load and noticed that a payment had not been made on my loan. I called her back and told her that my payment did not apply to my account she then told me the payment was for her to upload all my documents and to make sure my paper work was processed. She even told me she understood how I was feeling when I told her about my illness and that she was a cancer survivor. I can not believe she did that. Please do not be decided by this company. They are SCAMMERS. I hope you get caught.

On October 20, 2021 I contacted them about student loan forgiveness. I informed them that I had loans through Navient and ****** and they said based on what they see my loans are forgiven except for one which was the lowest balance of $7000. They said that I needed to pay for this paperwork and that it would be submitted and loans will be forgiven. Well this year I found out that it was a lie and that they would never asked for payment for loan forgiveness. Now I lost that money and back to where I was before. I feel they took others and myself for granted suckering us into a lie. I hope they will pay for those they cheated.

I called my student loan servicer (Navient) to discuss a payment. Somehow I was connected to a third party company. I was under the impression I was on the phone with Navient but I was actually on the phone with My Payment Help Center (MPHC) MPHC told me I was eligible to apply for the Public Student Loan Forgiveness program but need to pay $399.00 I gave them payment on April 27, 2022. When I called to check the status of my loans, I was told by ****** and the ********** of ********* that MPHC should not charge me for this.

Navient has been sued by the federal govt and lost for not making customers aware of programs available to them. Just look up Navient lawsuite.

We have met all of our contractual obligations.

I dialed a number that was displayed online as Navient. It was further into the call I asked oh I thought I called Navient and was told yes forgiveness calls transfer to me. I was led thru this all as if I was applying for forgiveness and turns out it's a consolidation loan, never spoke of rates, repayment etc. to clue in to their true goal until the very end. Acting like that's just how the program works, and me thinking I am talking to Navient is trusting this guidance. Once I got off the phone I logged into my Navient account and the balance was not what the payment help center said, my payment amount was different than they had said also. And the biggest issue was she said she had cancelled my current auto pay because she could access the billing system. However my auto pay was still turned on. I believe I was mislead, should have been clearly told I was not speaking with Navient, and want this contract cancelled immediately all monies returned and future payments cancelled. Also, I was verbally told 600 in payments til Jan 23rd, but the contract shows 800, sliding in unannounced down payment! Very misleading! These people have my social, checking info, etc. This misleading sales behavior is absolutely unacceptable.

don't understand what the client is inferring here but we cancelled her account and voided her payment before it processed. it's obvious the client did not read the contract correctly.

I called what I thought was Navient Student Loan servicing. Instead I did not realize that I was talking to My studenthelpcenter, LLC. I was speaking with *************************** who told me he was with Navient. I asked him a few times, and actually asked if this was a scam because it sounded to good to be true. I asked me to make 2 payments of $357.59 on 9/21/22 that would go on my student loan as payments. I did not intend for this information to go to this company but to Navient. I want the account with this company closed, canceled, my money returned and all of my personal information and documents returned. This company was dishonest, and lied to me outright on the phone when I asked ****** if he was from Navient.

I believe around June 6th, I was attempting to reach out to Student ******** Services at *********** or possibly Navient. My call was intercepted by a man who represented himself as *****. He said he was with My Payment Help Center. He said he was reviewing my loan status and that it was critical that I take immediate action to avoid loan default. ***** can be reached at ********************. ***** said that in order to initiate the repayment plan, I must first make 2 payments of approximately $249.50. The initial payment was to be debited from.my checking account immediately The second payment was to be pulled in Sept. I did authorize these payments, however after doing some research, I realized I had been scammed. At the time of the June payment, I was able to contact the fraud department at ***** Fargo and I also contacted ***** to advise that I wanted this payment reversed immediately. ***** was ******* to get me off the phone, however it was fairly quick that I saw the payment had been refunded to my checking account. End of story or so I thought. I noticed on 9/20 that the second payment of $249.50 was extracted from my bank account. This payment with the accumulated fees has put my account at a significant deficit. I do have a fraud claim initiated with ***** Fargo. This time, when I contacted *****, I was verbally berated and cursed and informed that it was not this company through whom I made the payment, I do have an emailed receipt indicating it was in fact from this company. ***** has since blocked my ability to contact him at My Payment Help Center. Please initiate an investigation and keep me informed. In the meantime, I also filed a report with 6abc news in *****( Call to Action)

I was contacted by My Payment Help Center in February 2020 informing me that my loan was sold to them and I would be set up to have my loans forgiven after setting up a payment plan. I made a payment and never heard back from them. Since the Covid 19 pandemic hit, I recieved messages that student loan payments were postponed, so I didnt think much about it. After being contacted by another company stating something somilar, I decided to look up my information and found that ****** was still responsible for my loan. I contact ****** and they informed me they had not been contacted by My Payment Help Center and told me to never make any payments to third parties involving services that are free. I believe I was misled by the company. I was shocked to find I am no closer to having my student loans forgiven and I lost money.
