      I thought I was contacting Navient in-regards to consolidating my student loan. I provided my social security number and debit card to consolidate my loan. The representative had my loan information and I thought they were an actual rep for Navient. My payment was due and I had to pay on that balance before consolidating. So, I paid ****** which is the amount that is owed on my student loan account.

      I thought I was speaking with a representative from my student loan servicer (***********) but instead I was talking to a representative from this business. The name of the person I was speaking to is and his number he gave me is. They made me give personal information to them and made me sign a contract to pay them in order to consolidate my student loans. They want me to pay $780 to them and all of the forms of communication to get back in touch with them have failed. So even though the contract says I can cancel, I have no way to do so since I can not contact them. As someone who is very new to student loans and repayments, I feel so taken advantage of.

      I am rejecting this response because:the only reason that I signed that document was because I was led to believe that I was speaking with my student loan servicer, ***********. The number of this fraudulent company came *** when I googled "*********** borrowers phone number," which is how I first came into contact with them. According to reviews and complaints, this is a similar experience for others who have fallen into the trap of this fraudulent business. 

      This company led me to believe that I was speaking with *********** and knew that I would rely on the guidance of my student loan servicer when making decisions about my loans. They used that reliance to coerce me into signing that document with them. In case this company is unaware, "fraud in the inducement" is a common legal defense in contract suits. I have been speaking with my lawyer regarding this matter and can easily take this matter to court if necessary.

      Hello! 

      I recently filed Complaint #********. Yesterday, following the business's response to my complaint, I selected that I was not satisfied with the business' offer. 

      However, I misunderstood how to read the company's offer until after I had submitted my rejection of the offer. I thought I was reading the company's response, but was looking at a document I submitted in the complaint. 

      Since the company has agreed to cancel the contract, and that is the result I wanted, I want to accept that offer. Is there a way that my rejection can be changed to an acception of their offer to cancel the contract?

      I was contacting my student loan provider Navient in regards to student loan payments. The person answered was *********************** who informed me that due to the Navient Lawsuit that mypaymenthelpcenter was responsible for this service and that I was eligible for student loan forgiveness. In order to qualify I would have to pay 3 separate installments per personal loan forgiveness and parent student loan forgiveness. I contacted Studentaid.gov who informed me that there is no fee associated with being placed in the student loan Forgiveness program. After speaking with Studentaid.gov, I emailed mypaymenthelpcenter a(***********************) and informed them that due to financial hardship that i could not participate in their program and please provide me with a refund and delete my information from their records. No response has been received as of this complaint submission. As of today I have paid a first installment of $111.00 on one loan and a total of ****** for another loan. I am requesting a resolve and full refund of funds expended and an assurance that personal information has be purged from their system. Thank you for your assistance.

      we met our contractual obligations on the payment for $406 and we refunded the $111 because we had not completed the work on that contract. We have deleted any personal information.
