I have never heard of this business before, yet it showed up of my credit report a few days ago saying I owed them 2400 dollars from 3 years ago. I have never even been approved by anyone for such an amount. the biggest loan I've ever had was a 250 loan. And when I disputed it, the say it belongs to me.Business Response

Our investigation revealed that the account was initially reported with a balance of $3,919.51. This balance was later corrected to $1,510.29 upon discovering errors in the initial information provided. Unfortunately, an Initial Demand Letter sent by Emergent reflected the incorrect balance.
We identified a system error that led to the incorrect balance being reported. This error has been addressed, and the correct balance is now reflected in our records. The customer can expect an update to their credit report within ***** days.

Systems and ***************************(SST) is a loan servicing and payment processing company that is committed to resolving customer service issues in a cooperative and expeditious manner.
Weve completed our initial review of the Account in question and found the following:
***************************** signed an Installment Loan Agreement for a Signature Loan with **************************** d/b/a ******** through FlexLending, LLC on May 23, 2022, in the amount of $900.00, with an interest rate of 164.99825%. ***************************** agreed to make 51 weekly payments of $35.51 with the first payment being due on May 30, 2022. ***************************** Account was transferred to System and *************************** (SST) as servicer on the Account on May 23, 2022, and a welcome letter was sent to advise of the transfer.
***************************** Account is on Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for the weekly payments of $35.51. EFT payments were attempted on July 28, 2022, and May 25, 2023; both were returned unpaid as Insufficient Funds. Notices of Insufficient Funds were sent to ***************************** to advise of each of the returned payments. These payments were never replaced, causing the account to continuously fall past due and accrue late fees.
SST has attempted to reach out to ***************************** on several occasions via phone, letters,and text messages with no response.
As of June 20, 2023, ***************************** Account is due for a total of $191.77 in unpaid late fees.

This is by far the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I made the mistake of taking out a loan with them and unfortunately my financial situation became dire afterwards. I contacted the company prior to my becoming delinquent on any payments to let them know my situation and was told they could not do anything to help me . I have tried to make payments at any time I can , and continued to ask for assistance explaining to each representative my situation with no help what so ever . I finally had a representative put in a request to defer 2 payments and later was told that request was denied without any information sent to me directly as to why. I continue to get further behind on this account because they are unwilling to consider any hardship help. I was even told by multiple agents that they do not offer these kinds of programs and a payment is a payment however over time and continuously getting behind eventually it will charge off. I have never dealt with a company so absolutely uncaring or unwilling to work with a consumer in my life. The representatives, while not outright rude, are very indifferent to the concerns of their customers and I would say whatever you do steer clear of this company at all costs . Our investigation has revealed that the customer received a loan on October 24, 2022, and subsequently informed SST of their financial difficulties that prevented them from making regular payments. The borrower contacted SST to inform them of their situation, but unfortunately, the borrower was unable to commit to a payment arrangement. We understand that financial hardship can be challenging, and SST has been authorized to offer hardship programs to eligible customers. SST has made multiple efforts to work with the customer to address their balance and obtain a payment arrangement including a recent conversation on April 24, 2023. I took out a loan with them, I lost my job subsequently after, I explained to them that I was having financial issues, I was unemployed for awhile, I have no financial assistance due to my family disowning me due to my sexuality and no friends due to mental health and social anxiety. I told them I wanted to pay but they told me I had to pay the full amount and then I told them I was willing to settle for less. Then they told me that they will not ***** me a Goodwill due to my financial situation which was out of my control and I looked for work while fighting with unemployment along with mental health issues. I was an an abusive relationship for six years and I was dragged out of bed and raped for no reason. I was put in the hospital for overdosing on sleep medication and attempted suicide. ** spite of this I mentioned to finish two college degrees after dropping out of high school in **** and obtaining my high school equivalency in 2013. I had every intention of paying back the loan but the severity of my situation was out of my control resulting in my eviction from my place of residence having lived in my car until it was taken away and I was forced to sleep outside along with any shelters or city provided housing. Because of them not *****ing me a Goodwill due to my situation and I sent them correspondence asking them for debt forgiveness and they have NOT complied at all. Signed a loan agreement with this company, care of ********. My loan agreement only has information for Flex Lending and its address and Phone Number. I got an email saying that my loan was going to be serviced by SST, and payments would be made through them. I did not sign an agreement for this - no was I told this in any sort of legally binding way.Called to ask about my disbursement and who was handling it. Was told different answers when pressed by both a "manager" and the Director of Customer Support. They initially said they would be handling the disbursement, but then later said SST would. Then said they were... and finally that SST would be. Despite giving me an anticipated disbursement date, they are not the party doing the disbursement, so this is done in bad faith. I was told this is the corporate policy of the company on how they handle disbursement. I asked to see where it states that on their website, on in the contract I signed that they wish to be a "legally binding" contract. This company is either terrible at what they do, or are intentionally misleading customers. I await my funds to see where they come from, and by whom. I took a loan out with this company on June 23rd. Payments are to be automatically withdrawn on the Thursday of every week. On June 30th no payment was withdrawn from my account so in Friday July 1st I called Flex lending and was told that I should make a one time payment over the phone and that the auto draft would then begin then begin the following Thursday ( 7th) *********** took 2 payments from me on the same day for the same payment date. On July 1st my account was debited $71.01 TWICE. I called Flex lending on July 5th and demanded my overpayment back. I was again lied to and told if I sent them the proof of the double payment ( bank statement) they would refund the overpayment back to my account. I did that. Have checked with my bank and still no request from Flex lending to repay me. I called Flex lending again today and was told they were sending my refund back via mail. No I told them I was told previously it will go back directly into my account. Then I spoke with "supervisor " who says the refund is coming back to my actual account but wasn't requested until 5pm yesterday (7th) and that it will take a while. I cant count how many times I have been lied to by this company and their original good up cost me over $150 with other withdrawals from my bank account. I barely got a I'm sorry from the last man, and no compensation for their mistakesBusiness Response
