      I have been constantly calling freedome mortgage to stop charging me for property taxes. My husband and I are veterans and are 100% years exempt from paying property taxes. However, this company keeps making errors with the amount of exemption and the billing amount. They ran an incorrect escrow analysis twice and refuse to adjust my April monthly payment. They demand the full amount for the incorrect amount and will review later or I can request a hardship and split the payment amount but they will report negatively to the credit bureau. They did this before when I applied for a natural disaster assistance when we had a tornado hit. They insisted that because there was a payment plan it would not be reported negatively then the next month they reported my account as late. I had to call several time and submit messages for them to correct. Im sick and tired of having to get them to fix the escrow and billing errors they are making and insisting that I just pay and theyll look at it later with the threat of reporting negatively to my credit report. Also, this company does not allow for anyone to make any payments other than the one amount for the total due. I cant pay multiple times a month. I call for help and Im out on hold for over and hour and a half with no answer. When Im disconnected, I call back and they are now closed. All I want is that they. Prefect the billing amount for April without late fees or attempting to collect more than is due.

      I am on the loan and my wife is only on the deed. She filed for chapter 13 bankruptcy. Since then freedom won't call or make reminders about payments. I accidentally forgot to pay the mortgage in December. I would have figured hey if I forgot they would call send letters. Freedom did not at all. Until I got a ding on my credit report then I had someone come to my house to do inspection to sell the house in case of a foreclosure!!! I tried to call and resolve this but everyone I spoke to kept telling me nothing can be done. I find this business practice very deceptive. Then when I made payments I still got a certified letter about being past due and starting foreclosure process. Let me get this straight my wife cannot call and speak to you about anything on the account unless I give permission but because she filed for bankruptcy you with hold communication and threaten with legal steps foreclosure and a home inspection!!! I will also going to file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General. Not only I am disgusted that my credit was dinged but the fact you send someone a month later to inspect the home to sell it! Money hungry pigs. I will never do business as soon as I can I will go to another financial entity to refinance the house and want nothing to do with you.

      I mail my payments far in advance of them being due, yet this company has twice charged me late payment penalties of $71.82. They are sitting on my check for at least 9 days and then processing it the day that it would be late.

      I have a 100% tax election on my property. I supplied this documentation to Freedom Mortgage prior to my annual escrow review for 2024. They paid out nearly $5,000 to ************ in taxes anyway. This was their error, not mine.I was asked to obtain NEW PROOF that I am 100% exempt which I did. They have acknowledged this error, and have not corrected it.They are now charging me an extra amount on my Mortgage in excess of $400 to make up for this shortfall THEY CAUSED.I want this corrected immediately, or I'm getting lawyers involved. I'm a disabled veteran and I should not have to deal with this l, especially when THEY caused the problem and I did all the leg work to correct it already. If they want their money, They had best go get it, and STOP holding ME accountable for it. Absolutely UNSAT and not at all supportive of disabled veterans.

      Freedom Mortgage company took over my home loan in August 2024, since then they have incorrectly reported my payment history to the credit bureaus and have added remarks stating that I was affected by a natural disaster and have deferred payments. None of this is true, I have made every payment on time and in full, I have recently found out that Freedom commonly does this is areas of natural disasters and is currently under investigation by the **** for similar tactics. The lack of payments being reported has negatively affected my ********** credit scores. I have spent hours on the phone and sent messages to Freedom and they have yet to fix the fraudulent credit reporting.

      Going through the VA assumption process as the buyer. We have received different timelines on the process, conflicting information on documents received/required, and different information on where the application is in the process.

      Freedom Mortgage made an unauthorized ACH withdrawal from one banking institution to pay for a mortgage through a different banking institution.On 2/14/25, Freedom took an unauthorized ACH debit of $1360.89 from my SFPCU and applied it to a mortgage from my ********** account. ****** and ******** are rentals and have separate accounts and banks for ACH mortgage withdrawals. Freedom is authorized to take $2100 every month from ***** for the Penfield mortgage. Freedom has a different ACH authorization to withdraw $1360.89 from ***** for the Lipton mortgage..Because Freedom took an unauthorized debit on 2/14 from SFPCU, my SFPCU account was short. ********************** came back to take the authorized ACH withdrawal of $2100 for Penfield. Freedom then continued to attempt ACH debits on 2/14, 2/18, 3/3, and 3/4, resulting in a $28 ACH return fee for each attempt. All of this without my permission or ************* Freedom says I am late on my March Penfield mortgage and is charging a $136.08 late fee.There was sufficient balance in my ***** account to pay the Lipton Mortgage but Freedom withdrew from SFPCU, which is an unassociated bank account. ********************** caused my SFPCU to be short.Freedom also took an additional Lipton mortgage withdrawal from my ***** account in Feb. On 2/25/2025 the withdrawal was for $1,511.94 (principal+interest+late charge+fee). This is in addition to the ***** withdrawal of $1360.86 on 2/14. Freedom paid themselves twice for a mortgage that was already paid.Freedom purchased our Lipton mortgage from Bay Equity in September 2024. That is six months of mortgage payments to Freedom, which should be a total of $8,165.16 (1360.86 x 6). Yet, I have paid Freedom a total of $11,146.84 in mortgage payments for Lipton. Freedom has withdrawn $2,981.68 extra in mortgage for Lipton without explanation.There is also a balance of approximately $400 sitting in a Freedom escrow account that should be returned to us. We did not need nor authorize any escrow account.

      I contacted my current Mortgage lender (Freedom Mortgage) on 03/03/2025 to enquire about refinancing my home in order to update and upgrade the interior. I had started demo work on the interior prior to contacting Freedom Mortgage and was UPFRONT AND VERY CLEAR from the beginning that demo work had started.Freedom Mortgage employees ****** ****** (Customer Advocate) and **** ***** (Loan Advisor) were both made aware of this fact from the initiation of my refinance request. I voived concern from the start, that I knew the home would need to be appraised and was worried that the lack of kitchen or bathroom could pose a problem, as they have already been removed from the residence. I was assured this would not be a problem ON SEVERAL PHONE CALLS. I went ahead and paid the $400 appraisal fee to have Freedom Mortgage arrange for someone to come to my property and do the appraisal, which came back without issue. ****** ****** of Freedom Mortgage contacted me on 03/21 to inform me that Freedom Mortgage would not be able to move forward with my refinancing request due to the home in question not having a functional bathroom or kitchen. ****** advised that both of these things would need to be addressed before Freedom Mortgage could move forward. I enquired about the several conversations that had taken place between myself and Ms. ****** as well as myself and Mr. ***** where I had already been completely transparent about the current status of the house, and was assured by Freedom Mortgage employees that it would be a NON-ISSUE.I feel that Freedom Mortgage has completely misled me in my pursuit to refinance my property. I was upfront and honest from day 1, while they drug me along for 3 weeks, took my $400 and THEN changed their directive and stated they wouldn't be able to move forward. I am asking for a refund of my $400 due to the fact that Freedom Mortgage knew full well that they would not fund the refinance based on information they already had on hand.

      I am disputing an invalid account reported by ***************************** Name]** on my credit report. This account is inaccurate, unverified, and violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Since it does not meet the legal standards for reporting, I request its immediate removal. If the furnisher cannot provide proper validation, it must be deleted per federal law.

      My property was affected by Hurricane ******. Losing my roof.I was informed by fema of a natural disaster forbearance. This allowed me the funds to put a new roof on and repair damages. I did not have homeowners insurance because when Freedom bought the loan they cancelled my homeowners without knowing and never informed me The forbearance ended 1/31/2025. I was told to speak to loss mitigation to go over my options. I did and they said they would add the balance to the loan, which they did. I also told them ** be selling the property and paying off the house. On 2/12/2025 the loan was paid in full. On 2/01/2025 Freedom reported me 120 days late. After coming off a natural disaster forbearance even though natural disaster forbearance protect you from credit reporting. I had worked out my situation with loss mitigation AND They still report me 120 days late and refuse to take any further action. This on top of not having homeowners insurance because they cancelled the policy and had no record of cancelling it. I incurred over ****** dollars worth of our or pocket expenses because of Freedom not even knowing what they did to my insurance. I want the incorrect credit reporting removed. This is so absurd.
