  I was sworn upon by day one that this company would back me all the way. From start to finish. That is far from the truth. I thought all the reviews on the site could be fair but I guess they actually are. During the whole sign up. I was sworn that somebody had my back. I was told they be by my side all the time. This was my first move and I felt very uncomfortable. I took several offers and when I spoke to other moving companies they began to laugh when I mentioned a BrightSide. They told me to void any checks I sent to them and find any other company even it was competition. The day of the move, things went smoothly. I have to admit. Close to a dozen Packers showed up. The gentleman in charge reassured me everything was in their hands and to just ease back and let them do their work. It felt good to have somebody that actually knew what they were doing. But that was just the initial move out of state. What was even more miserable was the move to the destination. Due to winter storms that took them a long period to get to us. That was expected. But when I finally showed up, they couldn't get their truck through the front gate. The mover and his partner (yes just two people through the whole unloading process) Charged me $900 extra to rent a U-Haul to shuttle the stuff from the truck to my apartment. They showed up without tools to assemble the furniture. Because they spent so long messing around trying to find a moving truck, they couldn't completely move us in. And dumped all boxes into the garage. Close to 50. A lot to handle for my mother and myself for both handicapped. We had to call in family from all over the state to help us out. And the furniture that they were able to get together without tools was put together wrong and severely damaged the furniture. Initially told us when we getting we'd get one mover and switch it to another. Do yourself a favor and pay the extra money to move with a big companies. Cuz what they did to us was just pitiful.

  We were so pleased to work with such wonderful movers, communication wise and services. Prices were affordable. Cecilia, the sale person, and Edgar, the manager, were excellent and quick to answer any questions or concerns.

  They were earlier than expected, and extremely respectful of my house. Not one shipping box had any damage on it. The crew was extremely efficient, and worked hard. I am happy our cabinet company used this company to deliver our cabinets.

  My cabinet maker though, not so much. But Brightside was outstanding. And their delivery employees did an amazing job taking great care and we're very organized.

  They communicated with me the whole time. Upon arrival, they did a walk-through to confirm what I wanted moved. They were very careful and moved all my heavy items with ease.

  When I first called to get a quote they explained everything in detail and was transparent about every charge so nothing came to a suprise at the end. Would definitely recommend and look forward to using them again when I need to move again!

  This was my first time ever using movers and it went extremely smooth. The guys were super friendly and explained the entire process. They were careful with all our belongings and treated everything with care.
