1 starThe current Property Manager ****** *******. Practices discrimination and unfair housing acts. I received a MOVE OUT ledger for CANCELLATION. This on the evening before I was scheduled to move in. This property manager resides on the property. She may think she can hand pick who resides there. 1 starI spoke with the apartment managers several times over a two week period, never until I jumped through every hurdle they threw at me, never once did they even suggest that my application would be denied, even sending me an email with a welcome letter, explaining how to pay my rent on time, request for problems or complaints. Three weeks after paying application fee, getting a welcome letterthinking I finally found a home, I get a call saying I was deniedClearly I made the required 3x monthly rent required to qualify, my credit score also met their requirementsI even told them about my service dog, they stated no problems as long as I had documentation. ( which I do). I am a 65 year old Caucasian non-binary personBlind in one eye..( why the service dog). I shared this with folks and a friend had representatives from Fair Housing, and ***, contacted me and are going to investigate this matter. Meanwhile I looked into other apartments in same area.Lo and behold they to are managed by Ventron!**************??Review fromBrianna W

1 star******* **** is by far is the worst Property Manger, the way she speaks to people, the way she trys be little people on top of her bad table manners she doesnt care about any of the residents at **********************. If you dont bow down to her she doesnt approve of you, if you stand up her to she hates it, she has as vindictive spirit about herself. She walks with if she had chip over her shoulder, this is what happens when you put a person like that in position with power they take advantage of it. Residents have tired to remove her from the community, she has a load of complaints and still manages to be at garden wood. She had no interest in the people that live at gardenwood all she cares is about herself.Review fromMichelle N

1 starHello,I rent and apartment from Ventron in ********I have been there for about 2 years. In those 2 years the apartment complex has not put any measures in place to prevent car theft and break-ins. Some cars have been stolen and recovered 2 and 3 times. Some cars are never recovered. Most everyone with a *** or ******* has been broken into at least 2 or more times. Some break-ins and thefts are random and not brand specific. In one weekend over 10 cars were vandalized and attempted theft in just 3 days. The problem is the theft and attempted theft has not stopped in the 2 years I have been there. It has in fact gotten worse. Several of us have complained to the Ventrom home office in ******* several times with no change in security or new security measures. My auto insurance has doubled because of the breakins. I have had to spend money to protect my vehicle because Ventron and the leasing office does not care and has not placed any added extra measures to prevent car theft. I hope this serves as a warning and a caution for anyone wanting to live there.Review fromTony K

1 starBad faith dealing: Ventron management has an "F" rating with ********* BBB. It appears they have relocated to ******* with the same adverse actions. Spring Lake Apartments recently installed new mailboxes and never issued new keys to residents. Upon visiting the leasing office, residents were informed to visit *************** *********** for "mail and keys". The *********** mentioned that the key issuance problem was with Spring Lake, not them. Therefore, residents' mail are being obstructed and delayed by Spring Lake. I have addressed this issue with the proper agencies and will continue to proceed with federal obstruction of mail charges, if needed. In closing, the nasty attitudes of the leasing office reminds me of the reviews I read about their office in **********, ******* - never made contact with them.Review fromCharasse H

1 star***** ,mold , straight, nasty?I was told that I don't have mold in my apartment they refuse to give me the paperwork to show me that is true. maintenance came in calling themselves cleaning and painting over mold they refused to take off my rent so I was decided to take matters in my own hands to take off on my rent . These apartments are nasty and outdated. Please do not waste your time, nor your money. As me we speak I have another sinus infection behind this nasty a** apartment . Also I have asthma, I have never missed a payment or never been late all I'm asking for them to take 550 off my rent for 3 months due to this living conditions for six months straight. My hot water heater is nasty as well. The mold will come back because my windows always wet like it's a water leak in the walls .it's getting cold so turning on my heat will dry it out and **** bridge will have some real issues if I get sick again. I'm pushing to get these apartments closed down. I asked for another apartment no response to my question. Or let me out my lease for free with my security deposit. Monday I will be calling the city of ******* health department on **** bridge I'm not the one to play with. I'm done being nice . 1 starMy unit flooded due to Ventron negligence. I lost almost everything, imagine losing things you cant replace from people you will never see again. They put myself and my 2 sons in a temporary one bedroom. I was told it would take a couple weeks to fix my unit, then a couple of months I went in the office to ask about my unit they told me they had leased it out. Now me and 2 kids are stuck in a small one bedroom. Luckily my oldest is away at school. My first unit was infested with roaches. The second unit the water came out black they couldnt figure out why. The third unit FLOODED AND THE TEMPORARY UNIT IS A ONE BEDROOM MOLDED APT AND THEY HAD ME PAY THE SAME PRICE FOR MY HUGE UNIT. I had to pay movers each time I moved to another ynit when I was their fault. The owner of Ventron is a scum bag landlord. Its utterly disgusting how he runs this apt complex LAS PALMAS APTS ********************* IS THE PROPERTY MANAGER.. SHE DOESNT CARE ABOUT THE TENANT. They also have you paying for trash valet and they never pick up the trash they dont clean the front of the buildings. They have roaches and the last apartment has caused health issues.Review fromAngel H

1 starThe women in the leasing office are angry and petty. You have to snap for them to listen. I’m a kind soft spoken person and I hate that. So I avoid communication. Right now I have a gas leak reported on 2/27. I had to sleep in my car. The same day I was told I need a new furnace. I was never told the estimate of time it would take to receive it. Today 3/3. I called to ask. I was told 7/10 days for it to arrive. Next week weather report is in the 30s with a possibility of snow. I informed them of this and asked how they would accommodate me. They said they’ll find a way to heat my apartment differently which is terrify because of a carbon monoxide leak!!! Not including my underlying medical conditions that affects me more in cold weather. Each night I overdress you sleep and double up on my iron pills. I told her that I disagreed with them trying to find a way to reheat my apartment and asked to speak to the manager *****. I was told to hold. As of now I’ve been on hold for almost 2hrs. This is sick and inhumane. You treat and handle people the way you wish to be. I am suppose to renew my lease on March 18th but my doubts are high. I am disgusted in these colored women that they’ll treat anyone this way!!!
