      My card was charged $44.99 for signing up for an account only to receive one phone call that I was made to believe would only cost $0.19. I called and requested my money back as I did not authorize this transaction and was told that I had to pay $14 and then they would refund me $30. If I wanted a full refund I would have to wait for an email to begin communications with ********. I expressed that I could not wait for an email as I was sitting at the facility with a bondsmen and the amount they took made me unable to bail this inmate out. I asked to speak to ******** and they said they do not have phones in that department so I asked to speak to a manager and they said there were no managers available and promptly told me to have a good day and hung up on me. I did not authorize this transaction as I have no reason to purchase a 3 month subscription. This company provides nothing but a scam.

      This company makes it look like youre sign up to create an account and charged me $45,98 for a 3 month subscription I didnt agree to. I requested a refund, and they gave me the run around, then only want to give me a partial refund for something I didnt agree to, after reading ****** reviews, and reviews here on the BBB I see Im not the only one dealing with this. This is totally misleading, theres also no check out process warning you hat your card is going to be charged like in any regular website. After letting them know I wanted a full refund they denied it.

      My information was stolen and I have told them that and the refuse to let me speak to a manager and refuse to give me a full refund when I was not the one that set up the account someone else did with all my information they took ***** ad say they will only give back ***** dollars and it was my ssi check that they took the money from

      I searched ****** for global tel link as they are the phone system used in ******** prisons. This company came up trying to appear like the real company and they charged my card ***** without any approval to do so they have refused to r efund my card after several requests the company is a scam

      GTL contracts with the ********************************** (****) to provide telephone services for prisoners. The system does NOT work. The prisoners and their families CONSTANTLY experience DROPPED CALLS, robotic sounds, or calls cutting in and out. Because the phone system has been SO HORRID, I purchased TWO cell phones AND had a home land line installed. We are STILL experiencing problems on ALL three lines. On 3/8/2021, I, ***************************, a civilian in ******** did NOT receive a phone call from prisoner #****** (*************) when he tried to call me on 3/20/2022 at 8:30 pm ET. The call did NOT ring through to my home phone. Home phone is ************. It rang on his side. On 3/21/2022 at 10:18 pm - the call did NOT ring through to my home phone. Home phone number is ************. It rang on his side. On 3/23/2022, at 8:35 pm ET, the call did ring to my home phone, I spoke with ******* for approx. **************************************************************** and out and he couldn't hear me talk and there were periods of complete silence on his end where it cut out on his end. There is ALWAYS some sort of background noise on his phone and I can tell when it goes in and out. Around approx 8:45 pm ET, I changed to a different phone because it kept cutting in and out and then I accidentally hit the button with my cheek and terminated the call because the buttons on the home phone are on the handle. Why did this call break in and out on a land line? Is this a GTL issue or is it somebody at the prison messing with our calls? ALso, on ****************************** called my cell phone ************ at approx 5 pm ET and he sounded like a robot. We spoke for approx 3 minutes and HUNG up because I could NOT hear him. We terminated the call early. We want these phone issues FIXED. I am a paying customer and expect the service to work every single time - ESPECIALLY on my land line. I want to be refunded for these calls.

      We do not serve any jail facilities in terms of handling collect or prepaid calls. But we sell Special Jail numbers which work with ALL facilities in *** and make your jail calls cheaper (using our numbers, you pay less to GlobaltelLink, Securustech, ************ and other jail's providers).
