    I purchased a transmission from BestBuyTransmissions back in 2019. It came with a 5 year/100k mile warranty. 4 weeks ago my transmission quit on me. I had it checked at my certified garage(the one that installed it for me). They determined the trans was no good. I submitted the warranty request to BestBuy, sent the requested info and photos and have still heard no response. No response to my emails. I call the customer service line and they give me the run around saying the warranty department will give me a call back. They never do. My transmission went out and was submitted 3 weeks prior to my warranty expiring. I feel that is the reason for avoidance. It was still under contract though so I expect them to hold up on their end of the deal.

    Here is some documentation of the email I have received after my warranty submission. The garage where my truck is at sent them the pictures and info they requested. The other photos are the emails I have sent to their customer support address. I have not received a reply to those emails.

    6/25/2020 was the date of purchase of a transmission. Tried to contact them 11/12/2024 cause transmission shot, and we have a warrenty. Have emailed at least a 5/6 times and getting no answer besides ''we will escalated to management''. We believe they are trying to wait out or warrenty to not honor it.

    I bought a transmission from them on May *******, my warranty has 5 years or till it reach ******* miles. I am still under 5 years warranty my transmission recently gave up on October ****** I did called the business a couple of times and I even text the required documents that the business requested to proceed the claim all i am getting is the round arounds that customer support will call me and as today no one has called me yet.

    First of all when I received transmission I took to shop to get installed we found the trans pan was over tighten and broke the cork gasket it was leaking like crazy so we had to drain the transmission and put new pan and a reusable gasket. on a 4L80E they use a reusable gasket not a cork gasket so we had to call best buy to get a another trans pan and gasket. then who ever remand the transmission they did not check out all the parts because the the shifter rod for the neutral safety switch was wore out and not letting me know what gear to put it in. so guess what had to drain the transmission again and replace shifter rod. Now a month later transmission burned up no reverse and one gear only, I called warranty and they said 5 to 7 weeks for another i told them I can not wait that long because I use this truck everyday for my business Im losing ******* a day as long as this truck is down. so 3 weeks go by and I call again and told to refund my money and labor cost and fluid which I had to buy twice. well it took a month to receive the ******* but no money for the labor cost and fluid in which ***************************** promised me to pay ****** dollars for the labor and fluid its been 3 months now and he is avoiding my phone calls I call every day I left messages I called customer service and they say we will give him message, well guess what he still doesn't reply back this company is a joke they are a broker not a transmission remanufacture the call out to companies to build them transmissions so its the luck of the draw I been a ASE master automotive & diesel mechanic for 35 yrs and never seen business done like this. so please steer clear of this company because they are con artist Date of experience: May 01, 2024 Edit

    Purchase date = 17 aug 23 Amount payed = ******* I received the transmission, had it professionally installed at a local shop. After install the transmission will not hold any gear or move. The technician stated something was wrong internally inside the transmission. I got the jeep towed to a dealership to get the transmissions computer mated to the vin. After this was complete the vehicle still will not engage any gear or move. I completed all steps that Best Buy transmission required for the warranty then waited 5 months for them to send a technician out. I was lied to over and over again on the telephone and all emails were disregard. Finally the after months of waiting and being patient, they refused to honor the warranty and can not give an answer as to why the transmission will not function. It took over 2 weeks of calling constantly and being lied to for them to even reply. They would not even email me an answer. They said the tires were the reason it hasnt drove at all with their transmission installed. It has zero miles on the transmission and hasnt worked from day one. Im a disabled vet and I pray no one else has to deal with this company. Im well over 3300 dollars into this transmission between labor, fluid and tow bills sense it wont drive. Attached are a the bill of landing showing when the ****** was received. Also the emails attached from ******************************* service manager at the dealership. *** reached out over and over again to try and get Best Buy transmission to right there wrong but only get excuses as to why tires that the vehicle hasnt drove on at all is the reason. I fully believe this is a dishonest fraudulent company Please help Thanks, *****

    6/16/23 I purchased a transmission from Best Buy Transmission. I received an email a day later regarding warranty and core return information and I have heard nothing since. $1900 gone. No response from the company. They will not answer the phone. They will not respond to emails. At a loss to recoup my money. Trying to find rides to work as I don't have a car.

    On 6-3-23 I ordered and paid for a 4 speed 4L60E automatic remanufactured transmission for an 07 avalanche, fluid and home delivery from BBT (best buy transmission) totalling $2480. Their promise of shipment within 15 days from the date of purchase (6-3) failed on 2 occasions, **** & update ****. Both exceeding the 15 day threshold. My calls and texts have been ignored. Order ID on invoice is **********************. I sent BBT my request for the return of funds but still no answer. Best Buy Transmission, ***************************************************** 33432-1741. **************

    I received my transmission shortly after contacting BBB with my complaint. So far everything is okay and all obligations have been met. I spoke with the company"s core return representative concerning core return but no mention of my prior complaint with them.     On 3/6/23 I bought a transmission and put it in myself. Had to take it to ***************************** (***********************) to be programmed to the truck. it would not shift into gear at all. ******************* said it was nothing I did on install. Just a bad transmission. Cost $179.95. IThey were going to refund me $400.00 for the first install that was bad. They still have not sent that back as of today 5/14/23.I let ******************* take care of sending bad transmission back and receiving second transmission.******************* also installed second transmission, which was also bad. Best Buy requested ******************* drop pan and inspect filter. Filter was good and install did find fluid smoked and metal inside transmission. Needed yet another transmission. $179.95 to do what Best Buy requested. Best Buy sent out the third transmission and this one is actually a good one. ******************* has a paper stating Best Buy will send them $520.00 reimbursement for install. Best Buy will not contact me or *******************. Will not return any of our calls at all or answer our calls. The third transmission was suppose to have gaskets, fluid and seals and none of that was with it. Total charge for ******************* to install two transmissions and missing parts was $4781.69.I think Best Buy should be responsible for my $400.00 and $520.00 they promised *******************. They should also be responsible for, at the very least, one of the three costs to install.I am having to do this from my iPad so I cannot upload contract, receipts but will me more than happen to fax or mail a copy or ***** ********************* ******************* said he would be more than happy to talk to you or send receipts and bill.

    We purchased a 42RLE transmission from this company and now at **** miles the transmission has an internal failure. We purchased our Jeep used with modifications already done to it and they are trying to point the blame everywhere but their product. We currently have the Jeep at a certified transmission shop and even he stated it was a part failure in the transmission and modifications had no bearing on the failure. Aside from their product failure the customer service is horrible at its best. You can never get them to return your phone call, they close your case with no resolution or curtesy to notify you, and they cannot stick to their story! When we put the new transmission in we had it re-geared to a 5:13 to take additional pressure off of the brand new transmission so we wouldnt have a failure. These technicians in the company have no idea what they are talking about, according to **** at Best Buy Transmissions they have a one time no questions asked replacement then when we call them back then they refuse to do anything because its just going to fail again due to the modifications. As our certified transmission shop laughed at the response because even they said its ridiculous because we took the proper steps and programming to negate any failures due to modifications. I will never do business with this company again and I will not recommend anyone to use them and save yourself the frustration

    Around November 10, 2023, I contacted Best buy Transmission about an issue with there product, they told me to summit a warranty claim, so I did, I've been getting the run around ever since, i was also called a liar by there Secretary when i said i was a disabled and i would like to talk to a Manager, witch is discrimination, i finally got ahold of a manager name ******, he told me to tow my truck to the shop and he will get it fix, Weve been communicating through text message, And i have all the proof on my phone, My mechanics been waiting to hear From their technicians, And my mechanic is telling me that I have to get my truck out of there if i'm not going to get it fixed i'm in a horrible position, And I tried calling ***** the manager best buy transmission this morning Even ******* The owner of the company and either one has Answered and I followed all their directions Please somebody help me
