On Friday June 21st I spoke with Premium Auto in reference to being sold a bad part after requesting further pictures of the backside of the unit.******************* told me and my witness to the conversation on the phone that he would call me back on Tuesday, June 25th. I have not heard from you and I gave you the remainder of the week to contact me.Due to being sold a bad part I am requesting a refund for the installation. Now I have to do this all over again because I was sold a bad part by Premium Parts.Here are the facts about the purchase:Was sent a pic of part #JHA012 (the first pic I was sent). Received an email asking me to approve this unit ****** with 3 pictures. (attached) *********** never sent me any new pictures of the backside of the unit because it was a bad part. Said pictures were never sent and a week passed. Never heard back.*********** delay put me in a difficult position as my car was unable to be in any moisture.After waiting a week without any additional pictures I called and was told the part "is in ********* ". What?The bad part should of never been a part of your inventory especially with a business name of "Premium Parts".I am requesting a complete refund of $1049.84 to be paid to my card I purchased the part with. Attached is the cash invoice for the installation of your bad part.Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing back with favorable results.Initial Complaint

I was told these are are new and photos would be sent of the parts. They charge my CC without and proof of the parts exists and they ARE USED i doubt they word since they are now 23 years old. rubber air springs.Customer response

I purchased a used engine and they shipped a dud, and then tried evading a refund. The engine also came from ****, when they assured me that it was from their warehouse in ******* and personally inspected by them. I believe they are a shady, dishonest company.Initial Complaint

I ordered a *********** bolts and hinges. My order was very specific that I needed all the parts and was given a quote. They did not send the complete and charged me more for the parts that I ordered. They are very deceptive. I urge people to not do business with them.Business response

I order and paid for a used car part from star auto parts the part was warrantied for 30 day for replacement or refund. The part was defective I informed star auto about this and after they gave me an extremely difficult time on the phone they agreed to send me a replacement part. After confirming this with them via email star never sent me the replacement part nor have they issued me a refund. I have hade to file a complaint with my credit card company to resolve this change and now will need to wait for a response. Star has also discontinued any further communication with me in reference to this matter.Initial Complaint

This company canceled a parts order and is now refusing to process a refund.The **** Debit card (****** **** Issued) used to pay for the cancelled order was flagged for fraud and canceled. See Doc. Star Auto Parts Invoice A2K9247.pdf There were many illegitimate charges and ****** confirmed the fraud and credited my account.This company has claimed to have issued a refund due to a claim from **** of *********** Doc ()As I have no accounts with BOA I cannot dispute a issue with BOA.They have even send me a claim receipt from BOA with the paid claim slip. Again I have no BOA Account and my name appears nowhere on the claim slip.The BBB records indicate a long history of complaints against this business and I can use the help to recover my hard earned money.Thanks for for being available to hear my case.*************************** ************Initial Complaint

I initiated a web search for a fuel rail for my 2008 Mercury Mountaineer. The part is no longer manufactured as the **************** has been closed for years. On 27 October we received a call from " ******* at Star ****" who stated that they had the part and e-mailed a picture of the part, which was exactly what we needed. On October 2, 2023, a part arrived, but it was not AT ALL the same as the advertised part, as can be seen on the file I uploaded.After many attempts to contact the seller by phone, and one email advising that I believed this to be a scam, someone replied with an apology. I called Trinity **** at the same address, and apparently, they are the same people with different names, and I was given the runaround with promises of " looking into the matter" but no resolution, and no further contact with me by email.Customer response

The merchant sent me the correct part number, and it appears to be functional.I cannot say that I am happy with this merchant because of all that has transpired, but I consider this complaint closed now.

I ordered a hard to find , used auto part from them. On 6/19/2023 I paid them via debit card over the phone. They sent me an email asking for authorisation to use the debit card I had used over the phone to place my order. A few days after the payment cleared my bank my debit card was hit with a phishing scam and I closed the card with no issue. They shipped the part I ordered on 6/23 , it was installed on 7/7 and it did not work. I contacted them and they said my warrenty was still good and shipped another on 7/12 and promised it would work. It did not work. I called them on the phone and they offered full refund if i shipped both parts back. I informed them of the debit card being compromised and requested a refund by check. On 8/2 I shipped them back via *** at a cost of $38 . They wanted it returned to an address in *******. They recieved it 8/7 but never cantacted me. I reached out to them on 8/17 via email and was told they would talk to billing and issue my refund. On 8/30 I reached out via email and they said they sent it and asked if I checked my mailbox. On 9/ 25 by email they said they would check with ***** As of today I have had no contact from them and have not recieved the refund. I have every email sent and recieved from them. I can not prove they compromised my debit card number but my bank and I both agree it is very likely them as they were the only unique purchase in the past year. Purchased a used radio after a used part search on line. Star parts called and said they had the part. This was on July 31. I have contacted them three times since to inquire about when the item would be shipped. First I was told its in work. Second time they said it was be inspected and would go out that day of next which I believe was September 2. Now the last time I had contact was September 4 . I have not heard anything about shipping so I have asked them to refund my money which was 195 dollars. I have heard nothing. I believe I have been scammed but I am not sure. I called ******* at Star Auto and ordered an ECM for my **** Grand Vitara on Manday July 31, 2003.He took my credit card and shipping information.By Thursday I had not received any invoice from them so I called them. They could not fid a record of my order.Now I have a vehicle that needs an engine computer and must begin the search again to attempt to find one. My vehicle now sits at the shop not running and its repairs are delayed by weeks.
