Been trying to cancel all my extra premium packages was told I would have somebody call me back that day. We are now going on day four and only received an email after I wrote three other emails that no one has called me. This is ridiculous that they do not have, a warranty cancellation phone number Ive never in my entire life had problems calling anyone within a business that didnt have a phone number as well as I was told by the gentleman who submitted my email to the cancellation department that it was going to take weeks to get the money back Which I dont see why is so long because you got paid right away you already received the money, so why cant it be refunded immediately its a joke and very inconvenient honestly, I believe they just wanted to get this last month in before they canceled it to start a whole new month.Business Response

I have been trying to cancel the car warranty I purchased from them for weeks now. Two weeks ago I actually chose to go in and hand them the cancellation form provided by the warranty company, since they failed to complete my requests over the phone. I reached out to the warranty company and the dealership has not reached out yet. I called the dealership, and I got ********************* on the phone and he was very rude and pompous and should not be dealing with the public. He also refused to put me on the phone with whoever is in charge. He did not seem to have any interest in resolving my issue, and the finance manager ******************************* has repeatably failed to process my request.Business Response

10/17/22 My daughter ***** ************************************* went to Mitsubishi to do maintenance on my other Red car that previously took it and they did not solve anything. The receptionist told my daughter that she had expired and her warranty on the car ! And that the fixes would cost you like a $150. First of all we have a 10 year warranty on the 2 cars, a few reasons was which I decided on Mitsubisi! Also Mrs. ************ mentioned to my daughter that the previous maintenance employee ****** was fired from Mitsubishi because He was very nice to my daughter and did her many favors !!!! I want to clarify here that this ************************** was the only one who has treated us decently, with respect, above all professionalism. At this time I and my daughter feel totally threatened by the actions of the Mitsubishi company that have crossed the line with our safety.Instead of acknowledging that we have given them jobs and sources of income come to make executioners, enemies! We do not feel safe and reliable with the actions of this company. . Since we have to have good professional relations that the guarantee for ***************************** this case we need guarantees to be able to continue our commercial business.Anything that does not malfunction mechanically that the company does not want to fix and commits some negligence and puts my daughter's life at risk and I will be reported !!! And we ask that sanction I investigate this company because? They are not reliable for the community!Business Response

The dealership sold me a 2018 Cadillac XT5 in August for $30,000. They did not disclose the carfax/accident report until after the test drive, credit pull and agreement to purchase was completed. Upon review of the carfax, it indicated "structural damage" reported. The dealer insisted, this is how many different issues relating to an accident get reported and that the accident was minor. They told me a tailgate or fender could've been replaced triggering the "structural damage" reporting. I expressly asked for confirmation from the sales manager and salesman on multiple occasions if the vehicle had frame damage. They repeatedly told me that it did not. I purchased the vehicle. 6 months later, I found out via CarMax that the vehicle does have frame damage. The experian auto-checker shows not only was the frame damage present but was disclosed at auction to Bonita Springs Mitsubishi meaning they should've known or had knowledge that the car had frame damage. Upon learning this, I called multiple times asking for a manager, no answer or call back. When I threatened an attorney, they called me back. Told me they would give me what I paid for the vehicle ($30,000) without the stipulation of buying another vehicle from them. I went into the dealership and test drove multiple vehicles that were either leaking fluids or also had "structural damage" so now I learn that most of their cars are prior-accident and frame damaged cars they are selling for retail. After leaving without a deal, they told me to return and they would still offer me my money back. I went back two weeks later and they took the offer back, tried to offer me $27000. Since then, they also told me they ordered parts for a warranty claim for the contract they sold me and now three months later, they refuse to fix my car or honor my warranty or cancel it. The warranty company says a claim was never even filed. This place is a scam, fraudulent and deceiving. They should lose the license to sell in FL.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 12, 2022/06/24) */ Hello, Bonita Springs Mitsubishi appreciates the Better Business Bureau's communication in helping us resolve any customer service issues. We regard customer service as the focal point of our business and are committed to maintaining exemplary support and service for our customers. We make it standard practice to ensure that our customers receive all the information we have available regarding their potential vehicle purchase. One of these reports is the Carfax, which we provide for every potential deal. The Carfax disclosed the information the customer addresses in their complaint; therefore, we will not be purchasing the vehicle back from the customer. If the customer wishes to continue in cancelling their extended warranty, we will be more than happy to assist. At this time, we believe all concerns have been addressed. If any questions remain, please contact us at XXX-XXX-XXXX. Best Regards, Bonita Springs Mitsubishi Customer Service Department Consumer Response /* (3000, 14, 2022/06/24) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept their response. They seem to forget it is understood what a carfax is. The PROBLEM IS when it says structural damage and I ask point blank in front of an eye witness if the car has FRAME DAMAGE and you say NO IT DOESN'T and I buy the car based on misrepresentation and false pretenses, then THAT IS THE PROBLEM. IT DOES NOT MATTER THAT I INITIALED THE CARFAX THAT IS NOT DISCLOSURE OF FRAME DAMAGE, WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PAY CLEAN RETAIL FOR A FRAME DAMAGED CADILLAC. Don't worry, I have 2 attorneys that agree with my arguments and the state of FL involved now. I won't accept FRAUD and you guys never even filed the claim with the warranty company in February and I've asked you to cancel the warranty for 5 months to no response. Retaliation isn't going to fly either. I just spoke with the investigator from the state of FL, this is just the beginning. I wont stop, I'll pay $30,000 in fees just to prevent more people from being taken by your scam of a business. Your company told me you would make this right and you would pay me what I paid for my car and would cancel the warranty back in February. Javier told me this on a recorded call and in the presence of two eye witnesses. I went there and you tried to play me and bait and switch and the 6 vehicles I looked at ALL HAD FRAME DAMAGE and on the lot at CLEAN RETAIL. Here is the appraisal from CARMAX showing FRAME DAMAGE and the Experian AUTO CHECKER that shows the VIN history where it was announced at auction as FRAME DAMAGE and that means you had knowledge and when I asked you if it had frame damage you knew better and lied to me to close a deal. I DONT CARE ABOUT A INITIAL ON A CARFAX, THAT IS A WEAK COUNTER ARGUMENT TO THIS ISSUE. Good try though. I am not as dumb as you think I am and you better go back to the drawing board with how you intend to get out of this utter lack of ethics and integrity and with how many frame damages vehicles you have put down the road from your hack auction and deceived and lied and misrepresented vehicle's conditions to , it's probably thousands. I am not a pushover and you guys will be held accountable. Trust meInitial Complaint

My husband bought a car from Mitsubishi of Bonita Springs in November of 2020. We had the "certified" used car for 6 months and then the engine blew. I have contacted the dealership who told me to contact corporate. I have been trying to get a hold of someone who will do something about the issue (a manager) but I have been told weeks ago that I would hear from someone in 24-48 hours. I am still waiting to hear back from them. I have contacted again to follow up multiple times. I am extremely irritated as I am still paying for the vehicle when it has been sitting in my driveway dead for a year. I have had it towed to 3 different shops to see what the issue is & they all tell me the same thing: it needs a new engine. This is not our fault & I will not be paying for a new engine, as it was sold as a certified vehicle. The corporation needs to take action on their part to either fix the car since it had an issue without us knowing or they need to replace it.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/05/31) */ Hello, Bonita Springs Mitsubishi appreciates the Better Business Bureau's communication in helping us resolve any customer service issues. We regard customer service as the focal point of our business and are committed to maintaining exemplary support and service for our customers. The customer purchased a 2012 Jeep Cherokee in November of 2020 while the dealership was being occupied by the previous ownership; furthermore, Bonita Springs Mitsubishi is not a Jeep dealer, therefore the 2012 Jeep Cherokee the customer purchased was not a certified vehicle. At the time of purchase, the customer declined to purchase an extended warranty on the vehicle with the understanding that the vehicle was sold "as-is". An investigation into the vehicle's history does not show a record of any service or maintenance work for 15,692 miles while the customer had the vehicle. Failure to have regular maintenance performed on the vehicle may result in damage to the engine. Our mission is to make sure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase; therefore, if any questions remain, please contact out customer service department at XXX-XXX-XXXX.
