Contracted to raise garage doors (high lift) Agreed non price gave deposit. Did partial work and left. They said theytried to contact me (this might be true, I have poor telephone edicate) However I contacted them several times to come out and finish. They demanded that I pay in full prior to completing job to which I refused and told them I would have a guy there and as soon as the doors were install properly he would give credit card. They refused. After looking at there reviews only a madmad would pay up front. I believe I still have there parts which they are more than happy to install and get paid in full. I have directed the gate guard not to allow access until this is resolved.

This company came to look at my garage door opener and advised that it needed to be replaced. The opener was opening the door partially but for some reason it was not going all the way up. The technician came out and charged us a deposit of $300 saying the opener needed to be replaced. It was never disclosed to us anything about the ole er other than they used *********** and we had to pay down that day and they will return tomorrow to replace it. That was strange since they only deal in garage doors seems they would have had one but never the less he came back and with a bottom of the barrel opener with only a single remote. We asked for another one and was told we had to pay for it. Then we called back to the main number asking why didnt we get something comparable with at least 2 remotes and a keypad. The onkh thing we were told at that time wa this one doesnt come with one but we can purchase one. Mind you this particular model opener retails for $150 at Loews or *********** The most basic of the basic and when we called back abt 30 minutes after the technician left we told them to come and take it back down and they gave us the run around saying someone would call us back. No one bee called back!! I had to keep calling and not until I told them about disputing the charges did a manager finally become available. He told us we can buy the other parts for a discount, not when we just paid $674 for a basic opener thats only $150 that takes an hour to install **** Then he said well we cant take it back because its open, however the no return policy was never disclosed nor is it on their website and they have no disclosures about anything. No disclosures on the products, no policies, just took our money and now do not want their bottom of when barrel product back. We want them to come get their opener and refund our money and train their techs to disclose fully their products and policies when dealing with them.

I uploaded the following description with pictures and receipt to correct:Ordered: High lift track conversion with necessary hardware (hinges, springs), installation of two new motors with battery backup for a single and a double garage door.Hinges not replaced. No new vertical track extensions, bearing plates, springs, drums or cables. Improper track installation. Only one battery backup was installed, and it was used.Additional Problems: Holes cut in the ceiling. Incorrect wires cut (affecting cameras). Unnecessary supports with protruding bolts causing damage to garage doors. Noticeable damage to garage doors, poor workmanship. Doors make strange noises when operated.Professional Assessment: Allied Doors, the original installers, assessed the work and declared it the worst attempt at a high lift conversion they had seen.Repair Costs: $7,585 to rectify the poor workmanship of the track, install correct track extensions, drums, torsion cables, brackets, bearing plates and springs for both garage doors and damage caused by Mr. *** It. $500 to replace camera wires. $500 to repaint garage doors. Total Additional Costs: $8,585.The old motors, which were fairly new and intended for sale, were taken by Mr. *** Its workers which is theft Communication with Mr. *** It: Initial conversation with the owner was challenging. The owner agreed to make it right after seeing pictures of the damage. An employee, ****, sent to inspect and fix the issues, was unprofessional, challenging, and denied wrongdoing. Despite a second visit and apology, the damage remained unresolved. Repeated attempts to contact the owner afterward went unanswered.Due to the incomplete and poorly executed service, expenses incurred for repairs, and theft of property, I am disputing these charges. Mr. *** It failed to deliver the promised services, caused significant damage, and did not respond to follow-up communication to resolve the issues. Since I had to get everything new I want a refund.

I ordered a steel garage door for $2,400.00 and gave a deposit of $1,200.00. When the door arrived at the warehouse I was called to arrange for a delivery and installation date. Twice i had an appointment for installation of the door. Twice I was stood up and the company did not install the door as scheduled. I have a deposit with them for $1,200.00 and I want that deposit back asap. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with. .

On 8/16/23 I called Mr *** It to see if they could fix my garage door opener. They sent a technician on 8/17 and was told it would be much cheaper to repair the opener vs installing a new one. I agreed to a price of $500 to repair the opener. On 8/20, the door opener that they fixed failed causing damage to my garage door and my personal vehicle. They were initially very unresponsive when I called them on 8/20 to report the problem and ask for assistance. They eventually sent out a tech late in the day (after many phone calls) and was told the opener was now beyond repair and he would replace it with a new unit for an additional $100. He accepted no responsibility for the damage to my garage door or vehicle. I told him to leave.I called Discover to challenge the $500 payment made on 8/17. In addition, I called Mr *** It on 8/21 and 8/22. In both instances I was told that a manager would call me shortly. They have never called me back.I eventually contracted another company who proceeded to replace my garage door opener.

The Mr *** It installer told us he was installing a comparable garage door opener to the one we previously had. We had a 3/4 hp opener with a light on either side, he installed a 1/2 hp opener with one forward facing light. The installer took our previous opener with him without asking, which is theft. Upon calling the company to request an itemized invoice and to be told how the $750 charge was calculated, I was told it was just a package deal. When I asked about my opener being taken, they said it was a mistake and he will be bringing it back. That was a lie, we never received our opener back. I asked to speak to a manager and when he called, I was treated without respect and was told I was a moron and, multiple times, to go [expletive] myself along with some other colorful language. Stay far away from this shady business.

On 2/26/23 I contracted with this company for the installation of a new garage door and electric garage door opener. I paid a deposit of $1030. and was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery and installation. I was also told that I was responsible for obtaining the necessary permits. I made multiple attempts to get the necessary information from this company to complete the permit applications, and they repeatedly told me that someone would get back to me with the necessary information, but they never did. They don't respond to emails or phone calls and I finally advised them to cancel the order on 3/25/23. I have received no response from this company, and I can only assume that they do not have the necessary insurance coverage to do business here, since they refuse to provide the information to get the permits. I would like my deposit refunded.

We purchased a new garage door through Mr. *** It on March 30, 2022 after an emergency rendered our current garage door inoperable. We were quoted a fee of $3,000 for a garage that would meet the current code requirements. The garage was not installed until May 16, 2022, and in the weeks between signing the contract and the install there was confusion on the contractor's part about whether our garage was available in their warehouse when both my husband and I called every other day for weeks. We were then alerted by a third-party in August 2022 that a permit was never opened for the replacement of the garage door. I reached out to Mr. *** It and they explained that there was a separate $450 charge to complete the permit process for us. Of course we wanted the garage door to be inspected so that our homeowner's insurance would recognize the installation of the new garage door, so we proceeded with paying them an additional $450 on August 17, 2022. The permit application was not filed with the county until September 25, 2022 and then sat open with nothing done until I called to complain this month (February 2023). An employee was sent to inspect prior to the county's inspection and he noted that the garage door would not pass inspection due to missing parts that should have been included in the installation. After the door was supposedly brought into compliance, we received a packet of papers in the mail supposedly to schedule the final county inspection ourselves. Of course, we cannot complete this process because they, as the contractor, must sign in through their portal with the building department to schedule the inspection. This is by far the WORST service I have ever received from a home service provider of any type. I could not be more disappointed and I will actively be telling neighbors and friends to avoid Mr *** It at all costs.
