      Nixon Home Improvement is a scam, Nixon ****** contacted us through a search on Angi's List. We signed a contract with him for a bathroom remodel and paid him $6,750 to begin the job. Nixon said the job would take about 2 weeks once the permits were attained. We arrived to the contracted completion date, 2 months later, and not even the permits were attained. After months of chasing him, he said he would refund the money, he Zelled $1,500 and he issued a bad check for $5,000. We searched his name for yelp reviews and found he had done this to more than 10 people and even left some in hazardous conditions. Nixon is a liar and a thief. He said he studied law, I guess that is how he has gotten away with his criminal acts for this long. Horrible experience, he needs to be stopped.

      Nixon runs a dishonest business - takes your money then doesnt deliver and wont return your money. This is not a home improvement business- it is a way for him to get money without doing any work.

      I wanted to renovate my kitchen, I ****** it, and I found an add about kitchen renovations for competitive prices, the website asked me for some data: such as the size of my kitchen 125 sqft, my full address, my phone number and my email.3 minutes later I received a call from Nixon ****** from Nixon Home Improvement, I accepted a visit from him, and 3 hours later he showed up to my home, I told him I wanted my kitchen renovated and a floor, a waterprooff vinyl floor, in the kitchen, living/dining room, halway and the den. Then we agreed to 20 points described in the attached contract. The agreed total cost, except for appliences that is not included, was $35,500. Later he sent me the contract and we signed it on July 25, 2022.Until now I have given Nixon ****** three payments: First one for $15,000, second one for $10,000 and the third one for $300 that he asked me for paying an extra electricity socket. In totakl I have given Nixon ****** a total of $25,300 out of $35,500 (71.3%) of total cost but the job done is 50%. The due date was September 18, 2022.The job has not been finished, he sent workers to demolish my kitchen, sent me some standard cabinets (not custom made) three cabinets were missing and still missing. they installed the ones he sent, thy did not install my appliences, except for a temporary sink with a new faucet over some pices of plywood sheet instead of the quartz countertop, he installed the vinyl floor, he did not installed the hood/extractor , did not install the cooktop, he did not install the oven, did not intall the dishwasher, and did not finish all the details of the kitchen cabinets.I want Nixon Home Improvement to finish tthe job ASAP, or to reimburse me $15,000 to resolve this problem, so I can use the money to hire another contractor to finish the job

      June 16, 2021, I ordered a new kitchen with this general contractor for ******. He was going to take my existing kitchen out and replace with new *********************. It took until November to actually put in the the new cabinets and countertop. He made a few mistakes and we were missing a cabinet base, 2 were the wrong size and another one was wrong style. He still had the countertops put on, even though the base cabinets were not all installed or correct. All the sides of cabinets did not have the finishing color. The cabinets holding up the counter are not even installed and providing support to the countertop. Half the outlets were left exposed. The kitchen has been sitting in this unfinished and unusable state since December. He said they were waiting on material and it was backordered and still waiting. He has told me this since December. The job was also to include the backsplash and sink with this price and he had me buy both and these costs were to be reimbursed by the contractor. He has continually not answered my calls or texts. He has never called me on his own with an update. When I call from other phone numbers, he answers his phone right away. I called the manufacturer of these cabinets and was told they are not on backorder and take 2 weeks to order. I had the manufacturer try and help but he still has not come to my home to find out exactly what is needed and get it ordered so that my kitchen can be completed. In addition, I am afraid that my countertop will break because it is not currently properly supported because the two cabinets underneath are not installed and just sitting underneath not touching.

      On March ***************** Improvement was hired to remodel my laundry room. A deposit of $1,000 was given he said it will take about 4-6 wks to complete. As of today 6/7/22 nothing has been done. Every time you call or text he is to busy to answer you questions, as to why is taking to long to complete the remodeling. He is full of excuses every time is something different; my staff has covid, I have 4 guys out this wk, I will call you back later. Does not return calls nor response to your messages. Absolutely the worst ever. PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT fall for him, this is a total SCAM!!!
