  Very professional crew! We are very pleased with their work. They had their work cut out for them bringing our stuff up the stairs and did a good job. I tipped well of course. Thanks fellas

  Really professional work by these guys. We chose them out of 3 other quotes that we got because of their good reviews online. They were transparent about pricing and the salesperson i spoke to was a straight shooter. I'd do business with Dougherty Brothers again

  If I could give zero stars I would. I booked my move with Dougherty Brothers in early June for an end of July move. They called me numerous times (an annoying amount of times) to re-confirm my inventory. One week before my move I was asked to provide measurements for common items (dresser drawer, couch, table) and also removed items from my move list that I decided not to take with me. I was informed the Friday before my move that now my estimate was increasing $500 (because of the size of my items, even AFTER removing several large items from the list.) When I asked for a clearer explanation on the increase in costs, the moving associate was rude and argumentative. I had a terrible feeling about the move going forward but since I was since I was days away I felt I was stuck with the company. The day before my move was scheduled, I was called and called the carrier cancelled and there was nothing they could do to help me. So I have been forced to find another carrier (funny, I was able to find one same day but the moving broker couldn't) When I asked when my $2000.00 deposit would be refunded, I was told they couldn't give me that information but to email a generic info email address. I then I asked for a billing phone number I was told there was none. Horrible and stressful experience during an already stressful period. I suggest looking elsewhere for your moving needs.

  I am very happy with my move with Dougherty Brothers. The crew they hired was great and very polite. I've always moved myself and rented a trailer but it was worth it to have them do all the labor this time. I'll probably be using them again sometime in the future.

  I had a great experience with Dougherty Brothers moving. My move went smooth and I felt it was good value for the over all cost. They put everything back together when they delivered and the crew was courteous and professional. I would recommend this company to everyone. They took a lot of stress off of my me and my family.

  They did a really great job with our move. They sent a carrier out of ********** to pick up our belongings and load our furniture onto their truck. The crew worked well with each other and handled our things with care. When they got here for delivery they moved our beds and dressers up the stairs and set everything in the bedrooms. I am satisfied with our moving purchase and I would recommend them.

  They lied to me. I think they hire' illegals 's to move the furniture. Here is the thing, they make me wait weeks to get my goods. They will not tell you this info. They charged me so much I was not able to pack some of my home up because it would run into a thousand more in fees.I do not have my Household goods because they do not use good business ethics. They are not up front with their delivery habits.

  I found them on a site for moving help and they have a good reputation based on reviews so I called and got a quote from one of their estimators. From the beginning I noticed he was very knowledgeable and explained how the quote is based on what I move. He had me list off all of my items and guess the amount of boxes I would need then gave me a quote for $2,800 and said the movers would do all of the loading and that my price could change if I brought more or less stuff. I paid a deposit and scheduled my pick up. When the crew arrived they got right to work and started wrapping my bureau and my tables. They worked quickly and did a really good job. They had loaded my stuff and were ready to head out in just 2 hours. Everything arrived in good shape. The delivery crew even reassembled my desk for me when they delivered it. They get an A+ from me I really appreciate all the hard work from the guys and thanks to Dougherty Brothers for getting it all scheduled for us. I would use them and the carrier again.

  Dougherty Brothers Moving is one of the best brokers we have worked with and we have used many. The estimate was accurate and they assigned a really good carrier who went above and beyond when handling our stuff. They treated our items like they were their own and really paid attention to detail when they packed the truck. We are very happy with our move.
