    Fence install about a year ago. Blew down 2months ago. Been communicating with company to no avail. In contract states. Aluminum posts installed for reinforcement. No Aluminum was installed.

    I had this company install a fence in January of 2023. I was told that it had a lifetime warranty. This included a double door gate. The salesman told me the gate would be reinforced to be sturdy. Since then, I have had to call them back several times to fix the gates. At first, the doors became too tight and rubbed when trying to close. They adjusted some parts on top of the gate. The problems continued and they have adjusted the doors and cut pieces off the doors. The doors would squeak and rub together. After hurricane ******, the doors arent aligned again. One is much lower than the other and it actually has to be lifted up in order to secure the latch. I think the website at the time said it would withstand a 150 mph hurricane, it now says a 120mph hurricane. We didnt have winds anywhere near that. Anyway, the company now says my warranty is only for one year and want to charge me $650. to replace the gates. I have repeatedly called and texted to get an explanation and I get no response. I have been promised more than once that someone would return my call. I have been speaking with Will and texted with ****. I was told that *********, a manager would call me on 11/11/2024 and she never did. I have told the I was going to contact the BBB and they still wont respond. This gate was bad since it was installed and they keep trying to correct it but they fail.

    Had a fence repair done on August 1st. Fence company is saying I owe more than I agreed to. Paid 50% down. They added additional charge of $300 for $30 permit I was to get myself. Not paying it so they are threatening me with a property lien.

    We are sorry to hear about the dissatisfaction with the additional permitting fee. The original contract clearly stated owner to pull permit in order to avoid the expense of having ASAP Fence go to permitting office and file all necessary documents. The customers desired timeline required ASAP Fence to pull the permits which requires additional time and effort on our staffs part which was not included in the original quote. We have asked to the client to pay for the remainder of the completed fence and he refuses to do so. Our contract states clearly a 10% holdback of retainage for reasonable disputes. With regards for permit filing services $300 is what we are charged by our permit running service to file permits on our behalf. It is unreasonable for a customer to expect us to pay these expenses when when it clearly stated in the work scope that they will handle this portion of the process. We hope come to a reasonable resolution.

    I had ASAP fence and gate install a fence. All other companies we spoke to were busy. Our fence was damaged due to hurricane ***. We got a quote from ASAP that was similar to other quotes. They initially brought the wrong materials due to an oversight on paperwork by **** who provided the quote. I specifically asked for the double gates to go "inward" when opening because we have 7 dogs, I didn't want them to bust out.My cousin stayed there for 2 months while we were working on our current home. She asked me to bring cinderblocks to place outside the brand new fence because her dogs broke through. I spent over $10k so dogs couldn't escape! I then noticed the issue with the gates being outwardly swinging and the metal poles that slide down into a PVC pipe to further secure the gates were so far down, they filled up with dirt so you cannot slide the poles into it.So to summarize, the gates need to be put up properly and the slides that further secures needs to be replaced so we can actually use that feature.When I called to get this fixed, I was provided a drawing from ********* (sp?) that said I approved the drawing and I should have seen the outswinging gate.I never saw the drawing as it went to the ***************** and not me. I had no knowledge of that and I SPECIFICALLY asked for inswinging gates since we have 7 dogs and don't want them to bust out of the yard. I only replaced the fencing because it was destroyed by hurricane ***. So adding insult to injury, I am out over $10K for a fence that needing replacing due to a natural disaster that won't keep my dogs in the yard!! And ASAP subs out work to the best of my knowledge, I think they just book jobs so NOBODY is responsible for ANYTHING! They should not be allowed to do business and scam Senior citizens like myself!! Shame on them!! And shame on them for not taking responsibility. AND they left the concrete posts they pulled out in our neighbors yard!

    Hello ***, 

    I apologize for not responding to this post a long time ago. it my understanding that we resolved the matter with you to your satisfaction by coming back and completely replacing all the issues you were concerned about at no additional expense. At the time we were not monitoring BBB to respond to concerns. If you could please respond to confirm that the issue was resolved including moving an entire fence line that was installed incorrectly by our installer without expense. As for your gates. This is a very particular need that is typically address during a walk through at the end of installation. Standard practice is to install gate facing out and holes in the ground for drop rods do need to be cleaned out occasionally as dirt will fall in them. The installer may have push the sleeve to far into the ground or someone on lawn equipment may have pushed it down. Hopefully you are now enjoying your fence as you had intended.

    ASAP Fence had come out and corrected the issues that were addressed.  The owner came through on his promise to correct the issues caused by the installer. I also understand the installer is no longer a subcontractor for this business.

    I am happy with the work performed on the corrections and that ASAP Fence kept it's word by making it right.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

    On Aug. 13, 2022 I contacted ASAP ***************************** asking for an estimate on 106' of vinyl fencing.ASAP *****************************. I agreed that there would be a charge of $69.00 if I did not use ASAP's services.On Aug. 17 I was given a quote from ****, (****'s estimator). At that time I gave **** a check for $200.00 deposit. (see attachment). On Aug. 18th I called **** to discuss a survey he had requested, and to discuss an issue with my neighbor's fence having to be removed prior to installation. I left a message on ****'s voicemail, but he never returned my call.The issue with my neighbor's fence not being resolved, I decided to scale down the project and install the fence myself. I notified ASAP that I would not be using their services and requested that they refund the $200.00 deposit, minus the $69.00 we had agreed upon for the estimate.
