    Contract signed May 2022. Fire remediation clean up and renovate. Have paid out $100,790 &Still have $49,000 in my account from insurance for ServPro. Met with Servpro August 2024 to dispute what they had done so far. This was the first time I had strength to get involved and confront Servpro - as my only child died in the fire March 2022. I went to them with evidence of charging for services not rendered , for negligence of work done ( like the ** that died after one year of being installed. Two licensed contractors drafted statements that the-** was not up to code and never could have lasted) over charging ( like the $15,000 ** for a 1200 sf home that my local ** company has given estimate to completely replace for $7,000) . Servpro verbally acknowledged that what I was saying was true and blamed it on project manager **** and said he was fired and gave me new project manager **** who right off the bat tried to charge $21k for standard windows - I got my own estimate and it is $20k for upgraded impact / hurricane windows which is what I need in *****************. Hurricane Helenes storm surge destroyed most of the work Servpro has done of the last couple of years. I made the mistake in a panic of seeing home destroyed again by storm surge & called out to Servpros **** for help. **** said for $7,500 Servpro would demo , mold remediation and repair dry wall. I did not sign contract - it was verbal . Servpro performed demo - but never came for mold and could not give a date for mold remediation. I started treating mold myself and began to consider tearing down home to rebuild new so I told Servpro forget about mold and dry wall and just send me bill for demo. I received a bill for $13,500 when I was expecting several thousand dollars - a portion of the $7,500. I have emailed them that I dispute that. I have asked Servpro to release me from fire contract and send me a statement showing what they have been paid for and what they claim to owe. I fear a lien

    This transaction started April 19 2024 and still on going. I had a kitchen fire and Servpro removed my items from my home for cleaning and was communicating with my insurance company for pricing. After the repairs were done to the apartment I paid almost $22,000 through my renters insurance for services. Then I was told I needed to pay more to bring my items back into my home. A pack back service they called it. They should have added this in the balance that was paid. They made some agreement with the insurance company and brought things back into my home but only dropped off boxes. I had to unpack the boxes myself so I'm not sure why there was a charges for about $2000 to drop off boxes. I'm also missing clothing, shoes, linens and items from my home. They have these items but are still asking for more money to return them. This company wants me to pay for items they stole. This is a mentally stressful situation. I need help with this company and situation, need to know my legal rights.

    10/18/2023 I was given an estimate to repair my late father's condo. Part of the estimate was tearing out and replacing all of the flooring in the living room. When talking to the actual contractor doing the work, we found a box of the flooring and he was able to order the ************** needed. Since I am selling the condo, I authorized him to only replace the flooring that was torn out during clean up. He agreed and said that would be done. Since then he left employment. I also talked to the office saying I only wanted it patched in. Today, December 1, 2023, during final walk through I was told it was all torn out and replaced. Without contacting me at all. Costing me over $4800 which will not be recouped when I sell the place. Not one phone was made to me while I called several times explaining the flooring.
