I live with my wife on the **************** Community in ****** Ranch. The *** board of directors have hired Truscapes Landscapers to landscape our homes and the common areas of our community. In July, I hired contractors to extend my lanai, while they were working on the extension, Truscapes needed to temporarily turn off the drip line irrigation in the back of my home. Once the project was completed, they would turn the drip line irrigation back on which they did. However, a Truscapes team member, ******* suggested that I install two new rotary drip lines so that they would sprinkle more surface area of my back lawn. He charged me $400. which I agreed to pay. I included a copy of my check which is furnished in the document uploading section of this complaint. These drip line rotaries never went on. I watched all the other drip lines go on, but not the rotaries. I reached out to the company several times through the Truscapes work order portal, our property manager, ****** reached out to them several times. Each time, their response was they work, they go off at different times without providing us with any specific time. Truscapes didnt offer me any solution to rectify the issue. Truscapes has sent over several team members to manually check the rotary drip lines and they do turn on, but what good is that if they dont work when they are suppose to work. They are set to work on a timer system. I have included a video (please excuse the profanity) of all the drip lines going off at their designated time, but never once did the rotaries come on. The Truscapes team members were not able to tell us exactly when they would go on. I have gone out several times, on many days and all hours of the day and night and they have never gone on. It should not be this complicated, said simply, they are not working properly. I have even reached out to the president of the company Mr. ********************* and as of today, November 7, 2022, he has not acknowledged nor reached out to me.Business Response

Tell us why here...******************,
Your business is appreciated and of very much value to us. Our goal is to always provide our customers with an excellent experience and perhaps you may have noticed that as weve always been very quick to respond to your questions and concerns when youve reached out to our office directly. That being said, as youve noted on your complaint, our team responded to each request made to us directly which youve done via direct call to our office and via the proprietary customer portal. Each time the service techs arrived theyve confirmed that the system is functioning properly with no imperfections or defects. Since you continued to express concerns, we involved your property manager ****** who you mentioned on the complaint, we wanted her as a neutral party to witness the proper function and operation of the system which services your property but technically belongs to the association which we service.
Upon performing our test, we found the system to be in good operating condition without defect. Please note that the drip irrigation system is tied to the system that runs immediately around your house, the rotors which you are questioning run from the common area system and separate from the system that provides watering to your drip irrigation system. Both of these systems (drip and rotors) cannot run together as each application has its limitations and design specifications.
Thank you for expressing your concern and we hope that this clears any misunderstanding.Initial Complaint

TruScapes Industries Inc. Landscape architect in Manatee County, Florida 3212 26th Ave E, Bradenton, FL XXXXX The above company has been contracted to maintain our community landscaping and yards / trimming. My wife and I have lived at the home for 3years now and never leave our enclosed pool cage due to the fact that it's the complete size of our backyard. This past month at some point when the landscaping was done our gutters we're either stepped on and/or partially run over by a machine. Either way they were damaged by the above company. I opened a ticket and a gentleman showed up at my home and accused me of doing the damage which makes absolutely no sense. He went on to be extremely rude and would not take any responsibility. I would like this repaired and fixed asap. A year ago the previous contractors did the same thing on the other side of the home and they fixed it immediately.Business Response

Business Response /* (1000, 7, 2022/08/01) */ Mr. *********, We strive to always provide our clients with exceptional customer service, and it saddens us that we've let you down recently. Our leadership team is looking deeper into the incident associated with the damage of your downspout. The damage to the downspouts on your yard is not consistent with those caused by mowers or lawn equipment. Typically, damage to downspouts caused by mowing equipment would leave classic damage prints similar to fingerprints which can easily let the team member know the damage was caused by our equipment and not something or someone else. In the meantime, while we continue to look into his incident, our team has replaced downspouts in hopes of making your customer service experience a more pleasant one. We will update you on any new developments at a later time via the means provided and agreed by your association. Thank you.
