      On June 22nd 2023, i put in an application for an apartment at this company and i paid $265.74 for the application. After submitting my paperwork, the leasing agent refused to wait for my partner to submit his documents for the was no room to add someone else in the application. So this application was canceled and a refund of the full amount was to be issued. We were told by the agent that my partner was to put in a new application which we did and an additional amount of $265.74. We both now submitted all documents requested, however the leasing agent kept asking for the same paperwork repeatedly. She said that the application would be canceled and a refund of the full amount would be issued. Again we submitted the documents requested. The leasing agent again requested the same documents. When i raised the issue that all documents were submitted and that our time were being wasted and after much consideration i requested that we would be thanking the offer to cancel the application and have the refund issued, the agent refused, she claimed the screening process had terminated. i requested the result of the screening, she has not answered since. i asked her how has the screening terminated if she had claimed she needed more documentation, she still did not answer.My desired resolution that i be issued the full refund in the amount of $531.48. Furthermore, destroying the copies of our documents that we submitted such as drivers licenses, paystubs, social security, employment information and all sensible information related to our application. Thank you!

      To Whom it May ************************ Leasing Agent at The Landings at Crystal Cove has been with us for a long time and does her job very well. We have a process for applications and required documentation for every person that applies and our employees follow these processes. However, we do not want Andride to feel mistreated so we have refunded the full $500.00 and I have uploaded screenshots as proof. They should see these reflected in their accounts in the next ***** hours. Unfortunately, we can't refund the $31.48 in processing fees since this was not paid to us but to Zego whom the payments are processed through. We wish Andride the best of luck.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The business claims that screenshot in the amount of $500 was posted. i do not see such screenshot. i will monitor for the refund until no later than saturday 08/19/2023.
