On Friday March 15th,2024 we had 2 trees removed by *** Davis. *** Davis was on my roof using a pole saw and allowing heavy tree limbs to drop on my roof causing much noise, including a wood splintering sound of ******* decking under the shingles and drip edge he damaged. I now have a roof leak in the exact area he damaged. To add insult to injury, I was told "I am trying to pull one over on them" because I want them to pay to repair *******.

The customer called me to remove two tree. He said he wanted to remove them because he was getting a new roof. The picture of the roof he provided himself should be enough to show you hes a scammer. That big black stain is what he said was water damage from are work. That picture was taken four day after we did the job. Anyone can see that water spot is much older then four day. Enough said. Show that picture to any roofer and he will tell you the same

I am rejecting this response because: Surely I called a so-called professional tree service out in hopes some idiot would drop tree limbs on my house so I could get a free roof. His response is laughable.

I had the trees removed because the mess they made and in hopes of not having to worry about them hitting my house going into hurricane season.

I specifically said "please DO NOT DAMAGE *******, IT IS A LARGE HOUSE AND I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO REPLACE MY RIGHT NOW BECAUSE IT WOULD BE EXPENSIVE ".

My home was completed in 2008 with 40 year dimensional shingles. I did not expect 40 years, maybe ***** years. Now I have damage and the shingles are an obsolete color. My HOA will NOT accept mismatched shingles. I was told by a worker that they would repair my roof. There is NO denying they damaged shingles, drip edge, the roof decking, and scratches and scrapes on my house. I was not asking for anything but a reasonable repair amount of $1,000.00.

As far as whether the staining is, or is not existing damage, I honestly can't say with 100% assurance. What I can say is I find it extremely difficult to believe that I have a leak in the exact spot he dropped heavy tree limbs on. There is absolutely no denying he broke shingles and damaged the drip edge. Yet, he calls a paying customer a scammer. In my 59 years on this earth I don't think I have ever been called that before.

That said, I  challenge the tree service company to a lie detector test. If I am lying then I pay for it. When it proves they are, they pay for it and pay for the damages.
    Sincerely,
