    I, ***************************************, MD, had Hoosier Marine examine and provide an estimate to repair my 19' Sceptra Boat damaged by the Hurricane of 9/22. I had the boat towed to the instructed address provided by Hoosier Marine (*******)on 10/13/22. He emailed an estimate that was unacceptable, and I did not authorize any work tobe done by him. ******* did not alert myself that there would be a monthly lift fee for my boat. I have 2 lifts, and would have towed the boat home if he had told me. The boat was not worked on, and ******* texted me to see the status. I told him that another Marine would come to pick the boat up in May. I received an invoice for rental monthly fees, but was not told about this until 5/18/23. I never at any time approved or signed for any agreement of a rental lift fee. I would like to state that the boat would have been moved if he had indicated that there were monetary fees. I told ******* that this was not agreed, and I was removing the boat asap. I feel the rental fee of $700.00 was not acceptable. He also invoiced another procedure of diesel fuel& pickling the engine that I would pay $270.00. Please let me know what the next step would be.

    We are writing in response to the complaint lodged by ************************************* [BBB Complaint ID: *******************] regarding the business relationship between our company, Hoosier Marine, and the customer.


    First and foremost, we acknowledge the concerns raised by ************************************* regarding the operating procedures following Hurricane ***. While we regret any inconvenience caused, we wish to clarify that the arrangement between our company and ************************************* was based on a verbal agreement, which we now recognize was not ideal in the given circumstances.


    We regret that our partnership with ************************************* did not meet their expectations, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. To address this issue and prevent further dispute, we have taken immediate action. We have waived all charges related to the services provided to ********************************************************* 


    We would like to emphasize that this resolution is not an admission of malpractice on our part. It is simply a decision to amicably conclude our business relationship with *************************************. At Hoosier Marine, we hold our customers' satisfaction in high regard. We deeply value the trust our clients place in us and strive to deliver exceptional service.
