I ended up coming here to get my entire car tinted because my friend used them about a year ago and he was happy with the service,I had an appointment at 3:30pm with ****, I pulled up at 3:19pm he drove the car around and started working on the windshield, after 30-40min working in and out of the windshield **** asked me, did you know your windshield is cracked?I said no way, I explained him that I had 2 people detailing my car in and out at my house for a long time and after they were done my wife and I came to check on the car because they did an awesome job and we spend some time looking around the car from every angle, the car was spotless and we didnt see a cracked windshield, as a matter fact the cash wash guy took pictures because and after his job for advertisement porpoises which I asked him to send me while I was debating the situation with **** the guy working on my windshield and showed him no damage on it and I also said, how come if youve been working on the windshield for almost 1 entire hour you just happen to notice the crack right the moment I stepped outside, when I confronted him and blame him for it he started barking, call the owner who started barking at me to and threatened me, refusing to provide any service or pay for the damages so I call the police when things started getting heated up but so I had to take my car, leave and put a claim to my insurance not theirs,I guess all those reviews before mine is because they did a good job like they did to my friend but the moment s*** goes sideways they will not accept fault or pay for anything and because is a civil matter the police dont do anything,By the way I purchased this car 2 days ago so Im sure if you just bought a Tesla you will look at every inch of the car to know if something was or not there, Im attacking the pictures the car wash guy took before and after and then one when I got home after the incident parked at the same spot so you can see proof that if it was cracked would of been seen before.

The windshield came already damaged to us. The client had an app at 3:30. When client arrived we spent over half hour going over how dark he wanted it. He had to call his friend in ***** then he had to look online then he had to call a family member. 30 min to make up his mind is too long holding me back from my job.
the vehicle was then pulled into the bay and prepped to get some work going since he still did not know how dark he wanted it. Upon working 15 min on the windshield and not 1 hour like the client states a crack was noticed on the windshield. I brought it up to the clients attention to ask what he would like me to do continue or stop and he then began blaming the tech. Our shop is an open concept shop where the costumer can watch the tech do the work. And the client was watching the tech do the work.
after an hour of going back and fourth and no work was done to the car it took up all the time of the appointment. The client spoke to the owner they worked it out. There was an appointment after and spending over an hour going back and fourth it took all the time needed to complete the work leaving me with only 20 min to do the work. The client still wanted to proceed with the work but was told he would have to be rescheduled since there was only 20 min to complete a 2 hour job.  The client became bothered by that and his answer was youre gonna get it done I explained to him I only had 20 min to do the job and his answer was not my problem at this point he was told to leave the premises as his intentions became clear which at this point he began getting agitated and his answer was make me I then called the **** because I feared for my safety as he insinuated he had a gun. Cops arrived and was told to leave the premises. The vehicle was never even tinted no film was applied. Within 15 min of prepping the windshield it was brought up to his attention. When prepping the windshield we clean it and as we clean it we inspect carefully for contamination and dirt to clean off and thats when the crack was noticed. Working on the windshield for 1 hour is a complete lie. He has no sense of time as most of the time was being taken up by the client deciding how dark he wanted it.

Once again client was watching the process happen

I am rejecting this response because:
He,(the owner) wasnt present, he is going by whatever his worker is telling him cause he **** or the owner didnt wanted to take responsibility for the damage, about the back windows tint color is true I was waiting on my friend to tell me what percentage tint he used on his car, however, **** said, no worries take your time cause I still have to prepare the windshield to install the tint and thats going to take some time, he started working on the windshield immediately and was working on it for a while when he supposedly found that my windshield was cracked, that cracked was over 2feet long so theres no way that if my car got there with such of visible damage was going to take him that long to find out, I was in the lobby checking my phone and from time to time I did look up to see what he was doing, the installer damaged the windshield while tucking a rope that was pushed in and down hard to avoid that water run into the electrical component underneath the windshield, as I mentioned before on my initial report my car was just detailed by a mobile company that came to my house, 2 guys spend hours cleaning my car then when they left my wife and I came to see the great job they did to the car and there was no crack on the windshield, as a matter fact the car wash guy took before and after pictures for advertisement purposes, pictures that were taken about 1 hr before I came to the shop to get the windows tint, pictures that I showed the installer to proof that the windshield was in perfect condition then is when he started getting heated up, getting defensive and started accusing me of trying to hide the windshield damage and blame them for it, I have sufficient evidence that it wasnt plus the common sense that he actually started working on the side that was cracked so theres NO WAY he would of missed such of damage, they have cameras all over the shop, theres one looking straight at where the car was parked, if the car came with a damaged windshield it could be seen on camera, isnt that what the cameras are for? Im that confident that it wasnt damaged that I shared my pictures, now, if they feel as confident that I showed up with a damaged windshield have them pull the videos of the cameras and if they can prove it, I will stop by in person to apologize, I should of had read their reviews on ****** before I brought my car to them cause now it all makes a lot more sense but instead I trusted my friend who was happy with their service (because everything went well) cause the moment something goes sideways is when you know how good their service really is and every customer who had an issue there complained about the owners attitude, etc

    Sincerely,
