    Contracted to restore our home after flooding from Hurricane ******. Abandoned project on January 10 2025. Had promised to be finished by the end of 2024 as our temporary rental ran out then. We have paid over $30k so Dishonest, abusive, threatening and disrespectful! Sloppy and unprofessional work. Sub contracted out almost everything to unqualified and unskilled lowest bidders. Left our home in ********. Refused to clean up. Refused to finish the work to our satisfaction even though we compromised on many things. He never visited the finished work. A survey of our entire home shows still unacceptably high moisture levels. Cabinets installed incorrectly and not square even though they are exact replacements of what was there. The drywall wall is finishing is crooked and sloppy everywhere and the texture does not match what was there. They tiled shut the bathroom window making it impossible to clean. They destroyed all our window treatments. The broke our TV and toilet.and damaged many of our personal property. They left a bottle of human urine behind our furniture. They dry walled in the returns to our Air Conditioner and left it running, damaging the air handler. I could go on and on. Now is threatening my wife and I with profanity and retaliation! He threatens to file a lien on our home and leave the permits open forever. Demands payment without work completion or permit closure!

    The contractor was engaged to provide reconstruction of owners residence in early December. The work was to restore our condo following extreme damage caused by hurricane *** flooding. Initial remediation was provided by ***************** in November of 2022. Over the last 9 months **** Brothers completed work intermittently and proved to be unresponsive to requests for progress reports or completion schedules. The company lied about the order and delivery of kitchen cabinets and bathroom vanities. At this point we requested termination of our relationship and their acceptance of $24,000 as full payment for merchandise and services rendered. The principle of the company, who prior to this point, had no contact or direct management of the job, responded with an unsubstantiated invoice for additional payment and threatened a mechanics lien. It has subsequently been discovered that the 3rd party handling payments made unreported and unapproved additional payments to **** Brothers beyond the known $24,000 in previous payments. We require the return of these excess payments to the issuer. The principle who responded to our request clearly demonstrated that he had incorrect and patently false information regarding everything that transpired. We have hundreds of text messages, emails, photographs, transcripts, and testimony to support our position and the facts. The company will shortly face actions by dozens of other aggrieved members of our community who have been dealing with **** Brothers. The company has been unable to produce any signed contracts for ourselves and many of their other customers. We will collectively be bringing these complaints to the County, the **************** contractor licensors. The ******* consumer affairs agency and the federal Consumer affairs agency.

    Honestly I can only laugh at this complaint.  The customer, ****************** designed his own kitchen layout and colors with a third party cabinet business.  We paid for cabinets as per part of the contract that ****************** claims doesnt exist.  The cabinets were delivered and installed by **** Brothers.  ***************** did not like the kitchen.  ***************** then ordered a second kitchen that we also installed to, which he also didnt like.  ***************** then demanded that we personally pay for a third kitchen. Which, obviously we said no.  We advised him he could pay for a third kitchen, then also pay for the Install, he then threatened all sorts of stuff. We have filed a ***************, a lien is currently being served, and **** Brothers fully plans to sue ***********************
