In March 2023, we agreed to have our driveway replaced by Ron H***** Inc. We were given an estimate of Ten Thousand One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($10,150.00) after marking out the area we asked to extend it in the back and we were told it would be an additional One Thousand Dollars, this we consent to paying a total of Eleven Thousand One Hundred and Fifty. The job started on April 18th, 2023 for the removal of the driveway, on the 19th of April the cement was poured by Kennedy Cement Company and spread by Mr. H***** crew. After the cement was spread we asked about the spacing for the cement to expand and contract, we were told later that evening he would be back to cut the spacing. hence the machine he used created numerous chips. About three weeks after the driveway was laid, I text Mr. H***** to find out what was going on with the coloring, He returned to take a look at what I was describing to him. He looked at it dry and also did a wet test. Mr. H***** claimed he have never seen a driveway with this outcome. He took pictures and gave us hope that this would be corrected. Prior to that his partner came out to assess it and claimed we were not the only one with this problem and they are meeting with the rep from the cement company to complain about the coloring. Mr. H***** claimed he would be return to re-cut the spacing but never did. Spending this type of money your expectation is that you would not have these types of problems. To have him telling me my dive way is white and pretty and the 90 degrees turn that we make to dive into our garage is the cause of the tire marks. Even though our previous driveway had cracked the coloring was nothing like the color now. This is so upsetting to see all the sand in the cement and all the different colors wet or dry. We are asking for help in resolving this problem. We are asking for something to be done about the color as well as the numerous cracks, if not repay us the cost to have it repaired.
