I received a call today from World Wide Vacations asking me why I have not used my vacation package, and letting me know that it had expired. They put the "manager" on and said that I could reinstate my package for $299. (They said I paid $400).I have no record in my emails of the email they said they sent to me, and the card they said I used was a different number 3 years earlier. Also I would not have bought a travel package in the middle of the pandemic!! the 2 people who I spoke with before the manager gave me the same line..."only work here 2 days", so I had to speak with the manager.I don't think I bought this package. I have no recollection of it. I think this company got my contact info...phone, email address and credit card number from some other travel or hotel company and are scamming people into spending money to "renew".I also got the same explanation that they don't keep transaction records so no record of my payment, and they can't send the original email, only confirmation after I renew.Beware of this scam.Review from Elin D

I also received a call today inviting me to extend my vacation package that was purchased in 2020. The person was very pushy, stating that they can only email me further information IF I pay the fee right now to EXTEND MY PACKAGE - citing that our package was only extended b/c of the pandemic. He said that I need to pay "the taxes" which comes to about $299. He refused to send me any explaination by email (despite teling me they had my email) until I pay this fee. period.I cannot find my paperwork from the purchase to confirm the expiration date of ****.?! and he explained that the previous company, owned or contracted by Hilton, is out of business. He said they have now taken over the accounts for the previous company. And he refused to email me any information, my only option to pay **** fee "on the spot".Maybe i have something to recover following covid, but this ********* pressure approach is horrible.Review from Jody O

Received a call to extend my vacation package that was purchased in 2020. Stating that they can extend the package b/c of the pandemic if I would like to pay $299 for taxes. Scam Alert! I paid my initial package price. Booked a vacation to PV Mexico in July, paid more fees, apparently reservation was lost, called multiple times getting excuse after excuse and run and and run around. Attempting to get money back and now saying no refund even though THEY cancelled my reservation. When I ask to speak to a manager, conveniently they aren’t available (more run around). Currently awaiting call back. I’ve already lost a lot of money. We’ll see if they follow through and refund my resort fees I paid for the trip THEY CANCELLED!! Super frustrating. This is a scam!!World Wide Vacations, LLC Response

We apologize for any inconvenience, however you requested to cancel your reservation because the resort does not confirm reservations more than 60 days out. Your requested dates are in January, which would have been confirmed in November. We spoke with you on several occasions and let you know this. You do not lose the funds, they remain on your account as a credit to rebook your reservation which is told to you and sent to you in an email. We are more than happy to book the reservation again for you if you would like. We look forward to hearing from you.Review from Nancy P

Do not trust this company. Unfortunately, they are not forthcoming nor do they give you the opportunity to research them before purchasing. They repeatedly tell you one thing and then after you have gone you read another that is conflicting. I was told that WVT was not whom I was to talk to for complaints but it was written directly in the booklet I was given after the fact and I spent my money that that was who I am to talk to.Review from Terrence M

WWV is a scam! I purchased a promotional package and wasn't told at purchase time that I would have to pay a resort fee of $199 per person on international resorts plus attend a seminar for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Was never able to use the international vacation so I decided to use the Vegas trip and was told that we would have to pay and extra $250 in fees but would get back only $100 AFTER we attended a mandatory seminar. A day before the trip we had to cancel and they told me I was going to lose my deposit of $250 and it can't roll over if I want to use it later because I had to cancel 7 days prior witch it was not told to me nor was it in any emails they sent me. I STRONGLY ADVISE EVERYONE NOT TO DO BUSINESS WITH WWV! They are not affiliated with the BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU!Review from Renee S

WATCH OUT! This company has called me several times. They claim they took over the accounts from ********* ******** ******* and going to fulfill the promises that were never kept by ********* ******** ******* if I pay them more money. They ever know the old credit card number I gave ********* ******** *******. ********* ******** ******* was a scam company. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. DO NOT BUY anything from World Wide Vacations out of Casselberry, FL. If you want to go on vacation, go through a legitimate airline, major hotel or cruise line website. They keep putting more salespeople on the phone and adding bargains like you want believe when you keep saying NO! I even blocked their phone numbers, and they call me from a different number. If it was such a good deal, they would not need to place calls, they would have their phones ringing off the hook. STAY AWAY from them! I hope you read this review before you buy anything and please do your research before giving them any money.Review from Jennette S.

Still scamming people. Just got another call and as soon as I stated I was looking on BBB, he hung up! There are so many out there like vacation international and EETSI that it is really hurting legitimate travel companies who are desperately trying to recover.World Wide Vacations, LLC Response

Were a large family, so anytime we can save money on travel we do. We purchased this vacation from World Wide back in 2021. At the time it sounded too good to be true. But now with everyting so expensive, I had a vacation to use. And we did. We went to Cabo and I cant believe what we spent for this vacation for our family. It wouldve cost us thousands with anothwer travel agency. Yeah, you have to listen to a presentation, but we just said no, and enojyted our vacation. We have other locations we can still use, and plan to use them soon. We will definitely be telling our feiends about using World Wide Vacations
