I recently had Paradise Road Builders come and install asphalt at my house for $14k. Jack R**** was extremely responsive in setting up the work and the company did a pretty good job dong the work. While doing the work, they knocked over and broke my mailbox post. They brought it to my attention and had offered $100 off of the bill. I did not have time to address the post so i asked if they would take care of it. Jack R**** agreed to address it in the next couple of days and I paid them for the work in-full and in good faith that they would honor their commitment to install the new mailbox post in place of the one they broke and finish the job. Across then next few days, called and texted Jack to get a schedule for when they would install the mailbox post. I did not receive a single response. I texted Jack again and told him that I was going to start a claims process to recover payment which he promptly replied to stating that he was dealing with a medical situation. I told him to focus on his family and he said that he would call me the next morning. The next day came and no calls. I reached back out and asked for his brothers phone number so that i could coordinate the mailbox post install with him. I again got no response. Its now been several days and I needed to receive mail so I went and did the work myself. Between the post, concrete, and my time, it cost me about $100.
