    They did not warrant a battery that they sold me as a marine battery that would not charge and said it was water damage but it was stored in my garage

    *************** first contacted Lithium Battery Power reporting that one of his batteries was not working properly. After going through a trouble shooting with no resolution, he was advised of the *** process. Arrangements were made to have his battery sent back to our facility for testing. Upon receipt, we first noticed that the weight did not match specifications and it seemed to have liquid inside. The battery was opened for further inspection, where we found a significant amount of water inside. 

    Lithium Battery Power has a ten year limited warranty which warrants against manufacturer's defects of component parts and craftsmanship. Water intrusion does not fall under either if these categories. LBP batteries have an IP rating of 56 and are approved for use in the marine industry. The battery cases are made of durable ABS plastic and have a highly sophisticated lid that has been engineered with safeguards to prevent water from seeping in. The lid is then fused to the base with a two-part urethane adhesive that melts the polymers and fuses them creating a solid case. We have gone through great measure and continuous improvements to ensure that we have a safe, reliable product. In research, we have found the only way for water intrusion to occur is through submersion over a period of time in excess of 4 hours.

    Failure to maintain batteries in a safe environment is not a manufacturers' defect, nor is it a defect in craftsmanship.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The battery was kept in a garage the entire time of owning it and could have never been subjected to water or submerged in water. I had it only for back up if I needed it in my boat. I also have 3 other marine batteries of theirs that I took out of my boat because they are apparently not marine batteries. If one thats in a dry garage can be water damaged then Im scared that the ones in my boat might catch fire. I also asked to have my battery returned to me but they would not do so. I have nothing to show for The  thousand dollars I paid for it , they took my money and battery. Their 10 year warranty apparently doesnt exist. I would have bought another battery if they would have given me the credit that remained on the battery but they never offered me anything
