    Purchased Nova ****************** in December of 2023. Soon after, the machine started giving an error code (Er.04) and would lock up and/or act erratically. Customer service was responsive and their solution was to send a new circuit board with instructions. I would need to remove the old one and install the new one. Once I installed the new one, the machine would not even power-on, it was completely dead. I engaged customer service again, providing detailed pictures of the installed circuit board, and their response was to send a second circuit board once the two defective boards were returned to them. They provided a pre-paid label and I returned both boards. At this point I stated I no longer felt comfortable nor competent to replace circuit boards and I no longer wished to own a new machine that had undergone 'multiple brain surgeries.' They also refused to exchange my machine for a new one. The only solution that works for them is to send me a new board to install even though I have have communicated twice that I will not install it and will return their mailing unopened. At this point, they have both circuits boards and I have their inoperable machine with no circuit board.Since I am refusing to do the work normally associated with a skilled technicians and they are refusing to exchange my machine for a new one, I am hoping for more customer friendly outcome.

    bought the Nova Galaxi 1644 lathe in Jan 2017. Wonderful machine! However one of the sensors needs cleaning quite often and I contacted them Oct 21. It broke for good on Oct 28. I sent in a customer service request. I am retired and use the lathe for income and this is not the time of year for it to break down. I tried to contact them by phone and for 45 minutes I got "your call is important to us" Well I got angry. I was not abusive but I was very critical of the service. They stated that they would get back to me within 24-48 hrs and sometimes longer. Don't email them or put in another form because it only makes it worse. This is a world class machine and service had been good to this point. Well it is Feb 2, 2022 and bought another smaller lathe (it was not a Nova). I like the Nova product that I bought the electronic drill press too! They can do a lot better than this.

    I apologize for your unfortunate experience. Call volumes during the holiday season (Sept -Dec) was extremely heavy and we experienced long wait times. We are in the process of revamping our Support Team to reduce wait times and provide quicker service. We are sorry to see you leave as a customer but we will gladly welcome you back should you decide to give us another look.

    I got the parts i needed, and am using my lathe again. I would ask that when I contact the service department that I do get a response. Not hearing from them from Oct 28 to today ..well don't u think that is a little long? Two suggestions: Acknowledge that u have received the request and keep in contact if there are longer delays. Parts for the Orion product are on line and there should be no reason why I could not purchase these items on line and by pass the customer service. You also did not address the problem if you complain they will not speak to you. And that is what your staff are doing. I am going downstairs in a few minutes to turn another pepper mill on my Gailxi lathe Yes, I got the part but no thanks to your customer service department and I have not left as a customer because the products are too good. I am still waiting for them to respond because one of the parts I need. Glad to hear that there are good changes coming. World class products (which my lathe is) should have world class service.Thanks for your time and hope to hear from the customer service to get that part.
