    The trash company I have been using raised their rates from $75 to $105 without notice. So, I decided to switch to a different company with more competitive prices Upon cancelation of my service, this company demanded that I pay them $45 for them to come pick up their trash container. I never signed anything regarding additional fees in order to cancel service. They claim that it is part of their terms or service, and that I have agreed their terms of service, simply by paying my bill. These terms of service have never been provided to me online, or in writing, and I have never signed anything from this company. They claim this fee is standard industry practice, but that is not true. I have paid them the full amount of every bill they have sent me. Now, because I won't give them an additional $45 to close my account, they have threatened to send me to collections and put a utility lien on my property. I am just trying to protect myself and report this scam and aggressive/threatening owner. Can they just charge anything they want for me to close my account? Can they really put a utility lien on my property? Thank you so much!

    When you signed up for service over one year ago, you signed up on a promotional sale with a 33% discounted rate from our regular pricing for one year. After One year the discount is removed and you go to standard pricing which is about 30% below the average county price. Your notice is your invoice sent out the month prior to the change to gives you sufficient time to cancel.

    As for the equipment pickup fee,  yes that is an industry standard and our charge is well below what other companies charge for equipment pickup fees in the area. You paid your invoices through our website multiple times and you check the box that you agree to our terms of service every time you pay. The terms of service are right there on our website for you to view when you pay (link to term of service ********************************************).This is no scam we are completely transparent , you received amazing service at a extremely inexpensive price even when you add in the equipment pick up fee. You also call the head of the county waste division with this complaint and when he contact us and we explain the situation he understood and would not get involved. You also went on ****** and said we are a scam and left a 1 star review. The langue you used with the agents that spoke to you on different calls was beyond unacceptable to say the least also threating to bash us online attempting to get something for free from us. We will not be held hostage to customers looking to not pay with online bashing threats. It is very unfortunate that 99% of our poor reviews are from customer who don't want to pay there bill. We have thousands of customer that are extremely happy with our service but never  write reviews online saying so.

    As for for you being sent to collection, yes we can and you will be. As for placing a utility lien against your property yes we can and it will be done under FL Statue Chapter ****** Lian ** Services Section 17 . We are willing to extended your payment until the end of March to settle your account.
