We purchased a spa cover from Affordable Spa Covers on 7/10/21. I noticed that the order was not connected to my log in, so I contacted the company via email to see if they could link my order. I also asked them if they knew abut how long it would be until they shipped it (website says 8-10 weeks, I was wondering if it would be closer to the 8 weeks or the 10 weeks). I got an email back stating that their turnaround time is 18-24 weeks! There is no way I would have ordered this cover if I had known that it would take that long. Our current cover is falling apart. I called the customer service number and attempted to cancel my order (it's only been 12 days since I placed the order). They are telling me that I would have had canceled it within 48 hours to get a full refund, that they are keeping $150. With a 6 month turnaround time, there is no way they started on my spa cover already, I want the full refund. Also, this site is CLEARLY misleading people with the 8-10 week quoted time.Initial Complaint

The website is very dishonest regarding delivery times. This is exceptionally disturbing especially since the delivery time is expected to be 6 months from date of purchase, not within a month as suggested on the web site. There is an 'expedited option' (if you pay an additional fee) that the web site suggests the spa cover will be shipped in a few days - but I was told that the real delivery time is about 2 months. Again, they are being very dishonest on the web site.Initial Complaint

ordered a tub cover on 12-12-20 after several weeks past the 6 to 8 weeks that I was told would take for delivery I received a highly damaged cover ( June 2021 ) and refused it, I was told I could reorder ( who would go thru this again ) I have been in contact for a refund check several times because they are unable to credit my card ,The last call I was told that it takes time to make sure my funds clear from my bank it has been 7 months I would hope it had cleared by now .I was also told that they have a $150 dollar cancellation policy this should be stated somewhere, I passed on this when trying to cancel 3 months after order I fell I have lost the $375 just getting info out hoping to prevent someone else the troubles I have had with this company order #XXXXXX
