My appointment was at 10 I didnt leave the shop until 2:30. They didnt give me a time estimate just told me it will be done soon. They charged me more than double for the parts for my vehicle. Overall bad experience will not go back and not recommend to others.

I had a warranty on all four of my tires. Yesterday, one of my tires burst, so I took my car back to Firestone to have it replaced. The technician told me that I had driven ****** miles on the tire, and therefore, the warranty no longer applied, even though my warranty was supposed to cover up to ****** miles. Initially, he said the replacement tire would cost $120. When I protested, asking why I was being charged so much, he claimed to be doing me a favor by only charging me $64 plus tax. This is the third time theyve charged me despite my warranty being valid. Ill never use Firestone again once my warranty expirestheyre vultures!

I have been a customer of ********************** since 1994. I have usually only had tire service and front alignments. However, recently *** had a check engine light problem. The service manager, *******, and technician, *****, got my vehicle engine problem corrected, and now I am a Happy Camper. Prior to my check engine light issue problem my vehicle 2006 ******* Zephyr was getting under 20 mph. Since the problem was corrected by Firestone my vehicle mpg average is now at 23.5 mph. We, as people, often dont hesitate to complain about vehicle service as a customer. People often also dont recognize mechanics who solve their vehicle problems; Take the time to give credit whenever its deserved!

We brought the vehicle in for overheating. They broke a part of the area the thermostat goes into while replacing it and had to have it for more of an extended period of time. Those things happen, we were glad they repaired it. When picking the vehicle up, however, we were unable to OPEN the drivers side door! We immediately went in and alerted them to this issue and they said, you can not prove you were able to get in and out of your car normally prior, and they refused to repair the door they broke!

VERY dissatisfied, I have never felt so ripped off as I felt when I concluded my transaction at Firestone. My check engine and stop/start service lights came on, The fault code indicated I needed a tune up, plugs and coil wires. I drove to Firestone *********************. I explained the situation After a few days I called to check on my vehicle, not finished, the next day I received a call from an employee that my vehicle would not start and that firestone does NOT have the equipment to fix my vehicle and that the mechanics DO NOT know what is wrong. He stated I would have to have the vehicle towed to another service station or the dealership. I called a wrecker company, who responded to Firestone, when he arrived the manager or employee refused to release the vehicle until I paid $786.00 for the REPAIRS. The driver called me, explained the situation, and left the business. I called Firestone and after a long conversation with an employee the price was reduced to $486.94 for the so-called repairs, which I paid so they would release the vehicle to the wrecker company. Wrecker took the vehicle to a service station who repaired my vehicle in less than a day. The repairs had to be done because of the damage, neglect, and incompetence of the firestone mechanics. They had shorted out the vehicles battery, blown fuses, and damaged the can bus which cost me another $483.13 to have repaired plus a wrecker tow bill. After driving the vehicle home, I looked under the hood and Im not sure they replace all the spark plugs. A tune up kit for Jeep Wrangler JL comes with the plugs and Ignition Coils, mine are still dirty and several do NOT look like they have been touched. (still covered in dust) Also, multiple wires and secure ties were loose or completely disconnected. In closing, I received poor service, over charged for repairs that may or may not have been done, and then I had to pay to fix the damages they caused by neglect and incompetence.

Message to the area manager she hung up on me - **************** made excuses for the following The most recent issue we had was with our ***** Tahoe. We bought new tires and had them aligned on 07/23/2024 at the ** store purchasing a lifetime alignment. My wife waited for the alignment to be completed. Upon returning home I asked for the alignment report produced by the alignment machine for my records so I can see potential future issues. I keep the most recent report in the glove box.My wife said they did not give her a hard copy, but indicated they would email her one. After not receiving the first email she returned to your store to give them my email address and asked ***** to resend the attachments. The second email only had the invoice/receipt and recommended services so I called the store and talked to the manager, *****. I asked him to send the alignment report again and he agreed. Still no email with the report. It was close to closing time so we went to the store to pick up the print out. When we got to the store he admitted he had no mechanism to print the report physically or to PDF as he had done with the invoice and recommended services. His reasoning this time was that Firestone changed the alignment process where they dont produce reports anymore.I told him that policy is completely counter to the alignment industry. Every alignment machine that I have every seen or used is equipped with the software and hardware to print reports. Without an alignment report customers cannot trust that the work has been done. Most people cant validate that an alignment was done aside from steering corrections. In our case the alignment was only done because of new tires. In addition, being suspicious of no report prompted me to check my car for signs of a performed alignment. I did not see any evidence of an alignment, no tool marks at all. Dirt covered the entire area of where it could have been adjusted (tie rods were caked with dirt).

Been Firestone customer at **************************** for years. Usually just get oil changes. Use coupon. Service usually acceptable. The last year place has gone down hill. Few months ago, made appointment. Long story short, waited 45 minutes. Asked when car would be serviced. Kept getting delayed. Finally demanded keys back. Employee a smug d*** Complained got free oul change and tire rotation.Last straw: made oil change appointment June 28th. Wait usual 25 minutes for car to get serviced. Was told stabilizer link broken. Against my better judgment said yes. Looked at invoice. Charged for 2 link pin kits when one needed. Looked up part number. Marked up 300% AND bled me $12 for shop supplies!!!!! Firestone admitted double charging for part. Blamed corporate for gouging pricing. Contacted corporate and getting partial refund. Will not do business with firestone again. Terrible business practices.

This store will sell you services you don't need, and then they won't stand behind their service when they do something that causes your car issues.I brought my car in at 68k miles and they told me that I needed new spark plugs. I didn't know at the time that spark plugs are supposed to last 100k miles. *** a mechanic was telling me I needed it; so I listened. 8k miles later, the end of a spark plug (that this Firestone installed and told me I needed) broke off into the 4th cylinder because a technician tightened it too much and the end of the spark plug cracked. I drove around for ~8k miles before the spark plug actually broke off, and now it has ruined my engine. So, I wouldn't even be in this position if they A) wouldn't have sold me a service I did not need for another 33k miles, and B) if the technician would have done their job correctly. My dad is a mechanic and worked at the highest grossing (and privately owned: aka, not corporate) firestone in ************* for over 20 years as their head mechanic. One reason they were the highest grossing is because people from all over our state would come BECAUSE my dad is an honest man, and because he wouldn't sell someone something they did not need.I would not recommend this Firestone location to anyone, knowing what I know now.I am also a woman, and the woman at the front desk said to me, "Maybe you can talk to your dad and he can explain it in a way that you can actually understand." I know I am a woman, but I am not an idiot. I have a degree in Physics and understand mechanics very well. I also understand that something can crack, but it won't actually break until enough force has been applied overtime. Again, I wouldn't be in this situation if I wasn't sold a service I did not need.
