    We entered building contract with Bernard Construction Group to build our home in Oct 2022, suppose to have the house built by Jan 2024. Until Feb 2024, no progress made, a lots of deficiencies from the county permit department that they still haven't addressed. Due to the delay, the construction loan expired after 1 year of the construction start date. The builder stopped the project.The builder still owed us $25,000.00 of deposit and the $111,981.00 withdraws from the construction loan draws. We reached out to the builder in April to discuss the breach of contract and request for the refund for the deposit and the work that they have not completed, but until now they have not responded.Attached is the contract.
