I’m currently dealing with Ascendant insurance company and decide to do research on the company ,thinking m best option is to hire a property damage attorney as well , and to gather information if it’s a need to go after the company that hit me if ascendant keeps up not only the fraud behavior but the delays I see it’s a typical common lie regarding the adjuster has changed. I have an abundance of emails and proof that my claim is now on its 5th adjuster. My car was hit Oct,30th 22 I just landed from burying m child my child when hit at the airport by huge van . They accepted fault Nov 7th I didn’t receive the needed quote to send my car off for repairs until late December, after the 3rd adjuster emailed it to me. Finally my car on 1/10/23 get in @ Toyota and it sat on a supplement hold for 3weeks due to needed suspension work to the left side and my rim that was knocked off car . Finally the insurance company responded and think they shouldn’t pay for any damage to the left side , their driver initially lied to the police regarding how the accident happen. In the report the officer stated the guy story couldn’t be true because All the damage was on my right side. I agree all visible damage , but unless the officer has superpowers I’m sure he wasn’t referring to such things he possibly couldn’t see. I’ve since even contacted the officer to clarify, I won’t say what he stated because I’m believing I’m going to most likely end up with a property damage attorney as well. However he’s willing to give a statement. I can go on and on about this company. Someone is going to loose their business behind being insured through this company, even the employees are unhappy. One side called me and told me how they were trying to tact things up by attempting to say the driver wasn’t on the insurance . That’s somebody business they are playing with businesses can be sued as well. This is just the short of it all

The claim referenced was reported on 11/03/2022 by the claimants attorney. Coverage and liability were accepted on 11/07/2022 and communicated to the claimant on 11/08/2022. The vehicle inspection was sent to our appraisal team to inspect the claimants vehicle on the same day. The inspection and estimate were completed and submitted to our inhouse appraisal audit team on 11/15/2022 and approved 11/16/2022. The claimant was contacted the same day that the estimate was approved to advise of the damages inspected and preliminary estimate written based on damages identified. On 11/17/2022 a property damage release was mailed and e-mailed to the claimant advising that execution of the release will be needed before payment could be issued. ******** never returned the signed release however, on 1/23/2023 a supplement estimate was received from the field appraiser based on the supplement request sent in by the shop directly to the appraiser. The claimant was contacted to inform of the supplement estimate and to inquire on the status of the property damage release form, given that our office still had not received the executed version from the claimant. ******** was also informed that the shop had claimed damages to the vehicle on the driver side that was not listed or claimed during the initial filing of the claim and was also not listed on the police report as it was not identified at the accident scene. The claimant was informed that the damage to the driver side is considered not covered based on the investigation performed and is deemed as unrelated to the loss. On 02/03/2023, a rental invoice was submitted by the claimant with a copy of the executed property damage release. On 02/09/2023 the claimant called inquiring on the damage to the driver side, the adjuster reminded the claimant of the previous conversation with the shop and as to why the damage to the driver side is not covered and is being considered as prior damage that is not related to the loss. ******** ultimately understood the position and agreed with the decision. Payment was issued and mailed to the shop on 2/13/2023.
