Dear Allied Auto Shippers LLC,I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the recent vehicle shipping service I arranged with your company. I contracted Allied Auto Shippers LLC to transport my vehicle from ********, ** to ******** NY on October 20, 2024. The initial pickup date was scheduled for October 21, 2024 at 6pm, but the vehicle was actually picked up on October 23, 2024 at 10pm. I was informed that the expected delivery date would be October 25, 2024.Upon not hearing any updates about my vehicles delivery, I reached out to the assigned driver to learn that he was experiencing mechanical issues with the truck. I then contacted the Allied Auto Shippers LLC dispatcher *****, who confirmed the mechanical problems and assured me the vehicle should still be delivered by October 30, ***************************************** with further updates.Unfortunately, as of October ******* , my vehicle had not been delivered, and I received no communication from your team. I spoke with the driver again November 1, 2024, only to learn that the mechanic he had scheduled did not show up, and he could not provide a new delivery estimate. The vehicle was finally delivered on November 6, 2024 at 11pm, not on a truck as expected, but driven to my address. When the vehicle arrived, it was dirty, had no gas and the check engine light was on. This experience has caused me considerable inconvenience and frustration. I am highly disappointed with the lack of communication , the unprofessional handling of my vehicle , and the overall delays. I request that Allied Auto Shippers LLC take immediate steps to address this situation and resolve this issue by providing a partial refund or compensation for the poor service and additional expenses I may now face due to the condition of my vehicle upon delivery. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see this resolved quickly and efficiently.Business Response

I do apologize for the situation and the head ache it caused. Unfortunately, this was out of our hands because it was mechanical problems with the semi truck. We did issue a full refund back to the card that was originally charged. Also we have emailed the trucking companies insurance information to the customer and attached it here, we were unaware of the check engine light being on upon delivery.Customer Answer

As we explained to **** when he requested our service we are a broker that located trucking companies for our customers. We do not own the trucks or hire the personal drivers individually. The $195 refund we issued was the only amount we had to refund no more money was ever paid to Allied Auto Shippers. I apologize for the situation but in transport trucks can break down and cause delays.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because your company did not confirm that the vehicle was delivered by shipping date and did not offer a contingency plan.

I got a quote in April from Allied to ship a car from ********** to ***** in June. The quote was for $950. I called the week before the scheduled pick up date and was told everything was in order. The day before pick up when they called to let me know when they would pick up the car, they told me it would be $1150. I asked why the price increased and they told me that that was simply what it cost to ship at this point. I was leaving town and did not think I had time to find another shipper that would be available within 2 days so I paid the deposit. After paying the deposit, I decided to check with another transport company to check that the new price was the current going rate. That shipper sent me a verified price of $950. I asked if that was firm or if it could possibly go up and they said no, because I was calling the day before I wanted it picked up, that would be the final price. At that point, I had already paid Allied's deposit but I called to see if they would honor the original quote since they say their company goal is "accurate quotes" and that they will "try to match competitor's rates" and I had received a current quote that matched (actually was slightly under) their original quote of $950. They simply said no. I feel like it was a bait and switch knowing that when I needed the car to be shipped the next day because we were moving, they would have me in a spot where I had no choice. All I want is for them to honor the original quote of $950.Business Response

We apologize for any misunderstandings this customer had but we did
explain everything several times. The customer signed the contract with
******************** in April for shipping in June. We spoke to the customer when the
order was placed and explained that we are brokers that locate the
trucking companies that are in the area on the dates requested, which is
why we also ask for a 48-hour window for pick-up. We also explained the
trucking companies do not schedule there loads months in advance and we
would call a few days before pick up to confirm everything.
Unfortunately, the trucking company that could do the dates the customer
requested on pickup and delivery asked for $200 more than quote. We
called the customer and explained that we could wait and try to get
another trucking company but the customer was set on these dates and
decided to do it. We told them that all the quotes they received are
estimates as we are all brokers who do not own the trucks. We also
pointed out it does state in the contract they signed in April that
Allied will confirm dates and fees once the carrier in confirmed. The
customer sent an email hours after the trucking company had been
scheduled saying they called another broker company who gave them a
quote for $950. We tried to call the customer no answer, we left a voice
mail, no return call. After the vehicle was delivered on time and in
perfect condition the customer emailed again with the complaint that
another company promised dates and prices and they wanted to know why we
charged more and wanted $200 back. We called and explained again that
just because they said they could do it didn't mean they could. The
other broker had never worked on the quote so there was no way they
could have had a driver for any cost or dates. As we explained to the
customer at this point it is a mute discussion because there is no way
to prove it one way or another. The customer agreed to everything before
anything was charged. We never pushed or forced them to take this
option, in fact we gave them time to call their spouse and call us back
after they discussed it and made their decision. Allied works very hard to
meet the demands of its customer without losing the quality of the
trucking companies. We only use top rated trucking companies with
up-to-date insurance on file.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: the company has now started a harassment effort against me. The same day that they submitted this response, I started getting hundreds of emails, texts, and phone messages with quotes for shipping the car that we had originally shipped as well as various other cars. I mean literally hundreds of texts, voice messages and emails. They are the only one who have the email and cell phone numbers to which these are coming. I demand that they stop this harassment immediately. I paid the full amount that the billed me and this action on their part is frankly both immature and uncalled for.
Sincerely,
