This customer never told us to cancel her plan, just assumed that was done. She shared information that her employer was giving her a hard time getting off her work plan but never told us to cancel the application she made.  When she finally reached out to cancel it, the plan had already started. We simply told the client to call the insurance company to expedite a refund since she was anxious about it.  It was at this time she became upset and rude about the situation. We do not ever cancel insurance policies without express consent in writing or deal with rude,  disrespectful clients.

I am rejecting this response because:

I would have been the customer for the business rude in my bank account is that you did not cancel why would I need two policies what part of the email sent to Mr **** copy to ****** was misunderstood that purchasing a private policy with your insurance company would be beneficial to me

Rude would be the lack of the insurance business understanding thereof if I came to you with questions of not being able to afford my employee based you were not able to feed my inquiry correctly purchasing a private insurance does not qualify as a life event therefore you accepting my money was bad business

As well I provided your company my banking information I should not have to reach out to another company to be refunded

    Sincerely,

    ****** ****

She will get a refund from the insurance company. We just told her to call to get it expedited.  She was rude to our office staff which we do not tolerate at Summit Insurance Group LLC as our employees are family.

    Complaint: 22274102

I am rejecting this response because:

The business should have been educated enough not to accept my request neither should have deducted My funds after email correspondence that the purchase of private insurance would not be a QLE to end my employer provided health insurance the refund was $2.79 less than what was deducted there are other issues I am dealing with I cashed the refund and I am ending the inquiry I will not reply to their unprofessional response any further.

    Sincerely,
