I was approached by a truck pulling in my driving from Badger wholesale Meats. The salesman ***** said he has customers in the subdivision behind me and was in the area. He said he had 16 cases he had to sell to get the weekend off. He told me if I buy 1 case of steak he would give me one free. I said no so he gave me 1 case of steaks for half price ($225). He told me it was all prime beef and 100% guaranteed. It is inedible meat. Tried the burgers and couple steaks. I got sick both times. I emailed and called the company with no reply back. I would like my money back because the salesman said 100% guaranteed. The product is just nasty!!!Initial Complaint

not From ********* as advertised, but from ******* 2) not fresh frozen as advertised 3) the meat boxes and meat didnt have dates - white boxes The meat had a packing date on the larger box in size 6point font. I purchased on Friday May 10th from Badger Wholesale, Drivers name is ****. Not, Twin cities as on the transaction with my credit card company. I also asked for a text receipt and didnt get one. I did look at the meat prior to purchase, but in haste. The delivery truck did say Badger Wholesale. I was under the impression this was a local meat source and I was supporting local business. I did look this company up after purchase and not getting an email receipt and seeing Florida on the boxes when putting away in my freezer, on the better business bureau and its been a while since complaints, however it is clear they dont have a good customer service model. Then when I called their company at ************** before 6:00 I discovered that you can only leave a message. I did. I left messages on 5/13; 5/15/ 5/16 and sent emails through their website. Their website: www.bwdeliveries.com states quality fresh Midwest - but the meat is from ******* and there is no date. Considering the overall experience and because I couldnt talk to someone at their company I went and took some pictures of the boxes. I didnt eat any product because I had made the decision to return. All meat is being stored properly in my freezer and Im hoping to return.Customer Answer

I was approached by a driver in a Badger Wholesale truck. He said another delivery person was not home and hed offer me a free box of products if I purchased a box of steaks for $449. He clearly mislead me about the reason for the deal and schmoozed me into a purchase with a tip. Habit. Read reviews I see this is their sales tactic. I have no interest in keeping the meats and want a full refund in exchange for the meats back.Customer Answer

Date of Transaction: 5/23/23 Purchased $648 worth of chicken and meat. I was told the meat was guaranteed freshness, tenderness and taste. We tried some of the chicken breast and chicken tenders. It was inedible. I even got sick from it. I have called three times, I have emailed them, and I have sent two messages through their contact us on their website. I wrote the check for the food and then within 5 minutes of leaving my house the check was cashed. I know this because I tried to put a stop payment on the check about an hour later and the bank gave me the time the check was cashed. So he knew he sold me expired food. He must have left my house and went straight to the bank. The driver was *********************. I can get more information about him from the bank. I now have a freezer full of inedible food and I am out $648. I planned to use that food to feed my family and now I might not have the money to get actual edible food for my family because they scammed me out of this money. I was a mother home alone and was targeted because of it. I thought I was making a money saving decision. Just turned out to be a devastating financial decision as I cannot feed my family food that could potentially get them sick. I was told the driver would be in contact with me to get the issue resolved. I havent heard a word.Customer Answer

Bought a box of Steaks With a box of Chicken thrown in for free for $449.00 on 11.8.23 after trying said Steaks found not as good as salesman said all shoe leather. Sent them an E-mail stating that week of the 1.9.23 called them 1.17.23 called back 1.19.23 sent another E-mail 1.25.23 stating the same no good, not satisfied ask for a response- No response. Date of purchase was 8/24/22 from a salesperson named ***. We paid $449.00 for a steak family pack and the seafood 6-pack. We were told that anything wrong with the product or simply if we didn't like the product that they would come out and exchange. They have a No Hassle Guarantee. We opened the (2) tenderloin steaks and it clearly was not tenderloin. Entire steak was all fat and full of muscle. Not restaurant style as we were guaranteed. We thought we would at least try a packet of the seafood. We opened the crab cakes that were suppose to be real blue crab. We explained that we were from ******** and knew the difference and *** said that we were going to be pleasantly surprised. Well needless to say, it was not. It is simply an imitation crab (which is fish) and stuffing mixture. We called the 800 number given, left numerous messages as required and no one will respond to us. *************). There is no person to speak to, just a recording. This company is selling product that is not what they advertise or guarantee. I believe we deserve a representative to contact us or out money back and they can take the remaining product.
