      A propane fueled firepit and glass windshield was ordered on 6/2/21. The cost of the pit and glass was $2,458.86, including tax.From the time of installation which was October 1/21, black soot has appeared on the glass crystals , when the firepit is used. They first came out and replaced the guts of the unit , without success.They brought the fire pit back to the shop twice without success. We originally wanted a new firepit, but now we would like a refund. They dont respond to my emails and I dont want to deal with a company anymore with such poor service.

      I am sure you are frustrated with your firepit issue, as are we.  As you stated, per the factories warranty, we replaced every part related to the fire/gas flow on your fire pit.  Yes, after all parts were replaced, we also brought it back to our service department to inspect and test as well.  While inspecting, we used our own propane tank to lite your firepit and had no issues. After replacing all parts, and testing your firepit with our own propane tank with no issues, the manufacturer stated that the issue must be with your propane tank (which was not purchased at the Patio Shoppe), or the gas that is in it.  Every one of your emails has always been answered.  Sometimes there was a delay in our response because we were waiting to hear back from the manufacturer, because the warranty is through the manufacturer, not the Patio Shoppe so we must wait for their response and proceed as they instruct us to. In the last communication we had with you through email, we stated to you that we would come out to your house one last time to confirm again that there are no issues when using our propane tank.  Please call customer service to schedule your service call at your convenience.
