we are not using this type of **** (Using plain bed sheets,you sent in photo that is not our Bed sheet) also we using Gray Color toppers and we didn't find any Bedbug in room.

I visited Econo lodge ******* on 1-1. 23. I paid 91$ to find my room covered in idk what kind of dust my my son sneezed all night. The next at at 956 my card was charged for ***** I did not authorize it to be charged for *****. I authorized 91$ and I have plenty of money in the bank to cover it. The attendant behind the glass called me a liar multiple times telling me to contact my bank that it declined my card and didn't charge me anything. I have screen shots of this charge still pending. I want a full refund of both nights of 176 .50. ! I have contacted a lawyer.Business response

I had stayed at econo Lodge in Crystal River fl and it was only me I was gone every day as I work cleaning business n offices n returned in evening n I was charged 498.39 for 6 days plus 75.00 deposit when I left on Friday I was told when I called about my deposit first there was couple towels missing so I had looked thru my laundry as I washed laundry there night before check out n I saw a towel of theirs so I returned it was told for second time nobody there to talk to about my refund so two days later I called and now being told towels were messed up I said the towels are like they were in room n now that there was damage to room that is a complete lie I did nothing but shower n lay in bed n back to work I never even watched TV I assure you there was no damage n refuses to give me my refund deposit n still nobody in motel to speak with I'm sorry but I spent alot of money to stay there n never damaged anything n I offered 5o pay for towel and they got nasty with me on the phone n refuses to refund my deposit I am completely sick over this whole ordeal I've never at age of 61 damaged anyone property they are just trying to keep my money n I need my deposit back and it has caused me to feel ill and stressed me out to know I am being accused of something like this I'm very respectfully person and would never do anything like this Ive been so sick over this ordeal n it has caused me pain and caused me stress and my stomach has been in knots and feeling sick to where I can hardly move n people that were they beside me said they paid 200 for 6days Towels were returned n I offered to buy new towels but I can't n won't do anything about room because there was no damage because of me and that was never mentioned then 5 days later about damage they are lying I believe since they don't want to resolve this n give back most of deposit I need file for pain and stress this has caused me n get complete refund for room 6days n deposit 573.39 and there was nothing saidBusiness response

I was charged a $100 security deposit on the day of my check in on 3/19/22. I was told the $100 would be refunded to me upon checkout. I was waited the required 10 business days, and still no return of deposit. I would like my $100 refunded to me.Business response

My daughter and I stayed at the Econo Lodge on West 47th in Times Square from Nov 30-Dec 7, 2021. I have never seen such filth and disarray. From the moment we walked in things were bad. The Lobby door is shattered and there is no luggage cart. I can understand that things happen, but nothing could have prepared for me for the conditions of the room. The carpet is old and covered in crud. It actually crunched under our feet. The lights are on a five minute timer, which is ridiculous and makes it impossible to get ready. The bathroom was completely disgusting!!! The hair dryer was hanging crookedly on the wall and when I touched it, it fell off completely. The heater that is on the wall fell off as soon as it was touched, and it does not work. There was no plug for the bath. I tried shoving a wash cloth in the drain and when I pulled it out, it was covered in hair and slimy gunk. The nozzle on the bath would not stay where it was set. It would slide to hot and scald the person showering. The only way we got a shower was for one of us to hold the nozzle in place while the other showered. The bed linens were stained and torn, and there wasn't even enough room to walk around the bed The hallway carpet was torn and rolled up in places, I actually tripped on it and fell. The elevator was disgustingly dirty and very slow ,and there were homeless people living in the stairwell! I called the Econo Lodge customer service department and I was told they would have to give the hotel time to respond. Nobody contacted me during or after our stay. My daughter got sick our second day there and spent the entire week throwing up. I can't prove it, but I think she caught something from this filthy place. I have seriously never seen such a disgustingly filthy place. It needs to be completely renovated from the ground up, and the company knows this. It should be against the law to present themselves as anything, but a dump. This hotel ruined our stay.Business response

This hotel is false advertising no smoking rooms that have clearly been smoked in for many years, and the smell of smoke is horrible.. The walls and ceiling are yellow. As well as windows that don't lock, so you and your belongings are not secure. When you try to call them they don't answer the phone. We were told when complained they couldn't do anything that eve and stop back tomorrow. I can't risk leaving myself and wife unsecured even for the night. Our booking was for 10 days. I was told I would be charged for that eve and refunded the rest. To stop back and talk to the owner/ manager in the morning. I stopped back and she said that she can't control who smokes in the room. I said the you can't advertise non smoking room then. She asked us to come back later to find a better room. This is unacceptable. Had to find a hotel that is what it says it is and secure. She claims that she would try to return money because of circumstances, but she didn't know how because was booked through booking.com. she would have to figure it out and get back with me. Of course never did and won't answer the phone. I disputed with booking.com and choice hotels. Both have been in contact with econo lodge crystal river, fl and she is refusing any refund. This seems to be common practice from reading other reviews of this hotel. She doesn't care , won't answer the phone or return calls. Something needs to be done about this hotel.Business response

This hotel has refused to refund money when being asked by booking.com and choice hotels. Also doesn't answer the phone or return calls. This is what led us to the bbb. Which is what I believe is the only reason they refunded some of the money. They still didn't refund all of the money. Very poor hotel and horrible customer service. They don't care and will just take your money. Buyer beware. Avoid this hotel at all cost. I've never left a hotel in my life. This place is that bad.Initial Complaint

I accidentally booked a hotel for 8/6/21-8/8/21 and canceled it the same day with booking.com I have tried to contact the hotel but no one is answering I called booking.com and the cannot give me my refund I called customer service and they told me that it showed as a no show I canceled the same day I really need a refund ASAPBusiness response
