      I give them a one because you cannot go lower. When I purchased my new vehicle from them they said even though they advertise lifetime warranty that I would have to purchase the extended warranty. I said I did not want it they then you cannot buy the vehicle. So I purchased the extended warranty only to find out later that in fact I did not have to. I have taken my vehicle there for service and always have been made to wait hours for even an oil change. Today my tire went flat and I took it in it took them two hours to tell me the tire was going to have to be replaced but that was not going to happen for at least 2 to 3 days so they could get the warranty approval and tire. So was told I would have to drive on my donut. I called to complain to service manager. He said let me find out whats going on and Ill call you right back. 4 hours and 20 minutes later he called and said dsame thing as his tech. The service manager was rude and dismissive and when I started to complain about the lack of care for their customers he hung up on me in mid sentence. Dont ever buy a vehicle from *** ***** unless you want to be lied to disrespected and taken advantage of

      Like other automotive dealers, *** Browne Chevrolet Buick *** offers extended warranty coverage on its new and certified pre-owned vehicles on a purely optional basis. Whether a potential buyer chooses to accept or forego this extra coverage has no bearing whatsoever on the availability of the vehicle in question.
      General sales manager **** ******* confirms that he offered to cancel any warranties the customer felt he did not need or want. The customer declined his offer.
      In this case, the customers extended policy came in handy, as it covered the replacement of his damaged tire. Unfortunately,its size specifications fell outside of those we regularly stock.
      Our team of service advisors are trained and expected to strictly adhere to the warranty companys claim policies. The customers policy required that our technicians take a photograph of the damaged tire, submit a claim and await finally approval.
      Once approved, our parts department was able to locate a replacement in ***** and made arrangements to have it shipped to our location as soon as possible.
      General manager *** *********** confirms that the customer used foul and abusive language when speaking to more than one member of our staff. After being asked repeatedly to conduct himself in an adult and reasonable fashion, our general sales manager made the decision to terminate his call.

      They only offered me one sixth of what I paid for the extended warranty. When that was offered to me I was told then I would have to pay for the tire. So I was sold a warranty at a staggering amount that I told two to his sales manager I did not want. Then to be treated poorly by his staff and his parts and service manager confirmed to me they had rude and incompetent people working for them but they are trying to get that corrected. He also stated that the salesperson that gets them to buy extended warrantys get a commission off of that. They have always lied been rude to their customer and service is very poor

      Well, it’s been over a week and still no response from them and haven’t received a response from Jim B either. Sent him a personal email regarding the situation. So I have to assume that he is as shady and crooked as the people he has working for them.

      *** ****** Chevrolet worked on my son’s car transmission took over a month to fix and would work on other cars while his car sat there. Then after it came back within a week the engine started acting up and now it needs work my son was told it was transmission and *** ****** says it’s the engine and trying to charge 400.00 dollars for towing that we did not have done or approved.

      Service director Joe H confirms that the vehicle was delivered to our repair facility without an appointment on August 24 by TLC Transmissions and Auto Repair.

      We ordered a replacement transmission and, once all necessary parts were on hand, adjusted our technicians’ schedule to complete the repair in as timely a manner as possible.

      The replacement transmission carries a full parts and labor warranty.

      Approximately two weeks after delivery, the vehicle was returned with a shifting concern.

      Upon inspection, our technicians determined that its throttle body boot had begun splitting apart, allowing abnormal air intake into the engine and creating an imbalance between air and fuel.

      We contacted the owner’s extended warranty company in an effort to obtain approval to complete the repair, but were informed it would not be covered under the terms of his contract.

      The customer was informed that repair and towing costs, totaling $477.24, would be his responsibility as the condition was unrelated to the previous transmission repair, and that further repairs may be required once the throttle body boot was addressed.

      I was told by ***** that it is codes coming up for the transmission and NOT the air intake valve and when I spoke to Aamco again they once AGAIN said it is the transmission and not the air intake to put the parts in and SHOW them its the transmission. *************** attorney about this issue I feel I shouldnt have to pay for work to be done they may or MAY NOT fix the problem.

      On 9/8/2023, my wife took her 2019 Equinox to the Jim Browne dealership in Dade City to purchase a new key fob. The dealership charged her $180.00 for a fob that costs $39.00 on Amazon. Then charged her $200.00 to have that fob programmed to start the vehicle. This programming only takes about 40 minutes as per youtube videos and can easily be done at home by the owner. (something that I did not know prior to my wife having this done) The tech did not know how to program the fob and had to get assistance from the parts department in order to finish the job. The prices for this fob and the programming are nothing short of customer price gouging at its worst. This is a prime example why people do not wish to have their vehicles repaired at dealerships. You buy a vehicle at a local dealership, expecting them to help a local customer when needed, and they overcharge them with exagerated prices for parts and labor!
