DAILY snail mail spam from this company. I want my name and address removed PERMANENTLY. I do not want to wait 60 days for this to take place.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/30) */ We have reviewed the complaint (BBB #XXXXXXXX) submitted by the consumer and sent to Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG) on 7/20/2021. BHG takes its complaint management process seriously and is committed to provide timely and appropriate responses. To satisfy the resolution of the consumer, he has been placed on our Do Not Contact List and has been removed from our marketing lists as requested. Although he has been placed on our DNC List as of 7/22/2021, the request will still take up to 60 days to be processed by the third-party mail house we use to send out our marketing pieces. We schedule our marketing pieces in advance, so we request that the consumer allow for that additional time, and excuse any additional piece that may arrive during that time. According to our Data Management Team, there are multiple future transactions scheduled to be mailed over the next 45 days (last mail drop 8/19/2021) as we plan our mail two months in advance. For this inconvenience, we will be sending out a $50 Visa Gift Card by mail to the consumer over the next two weeks.Initial Complaint

One year ago I opened a credit card with Bankers Health Group I was informed that there was $195 annual fee I was fine with that. I asked if I can have family members issued credit cards as well and they said yes -- I was never informed that each credit card issued would also have a $195 annual fee. This never crossed my mind because with other credit card companies --- I have done the same thing and only have one annual fee. I was surprised and shocked when at the end of the year I had $195 annual fee on every card. I am asking for full refund of $784 for the 4 other cards -- I will pay the $195 that I originally agreed too -- But I feel with all this trouble and lack of transparency that fee should be waived... thank you and I hope you are able to help.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/07/21) */ We have reviewed the complaint (BBB #XXXXXXXX) submitted by the consumer and sent to Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG) on 7/19/2021. BHG takes its complaint management processes seriously and is committed to provide timely and appropriate responses. We will be crediting the customer the refund as requested. Our records indicate that the customers accounts were setup for "individual billing", which comes with a points bonus program for each individual and an associated annual fee. The accounts were not setup as a "consolidated billing" account where only the primary has an annual fee assessed. We will look to reclassify the account as consolidated billing with only one annual fee and refund the customer the additional annual fees as well as any additional fees or finance charges. An Account Manger will be reaching out to the customer to go over all of this with the customer very soon.
