1 starTerrible Bank to deal with. Assigned representative never answers phone calls or emails. After application was submitted, communication deteriorated with BHG. From customer service, to loan officer and processer. After a few days of waiting for a call back from loan officer, I reached out to customer service for clarification and was advised it, "was not the loan officer's job to call me back"- which was strange since she was my main point of contact throughout the application process, and at no point was I handed off to someone else as the **** Incredibly unprofessional in tone and conduct and regardless of loan decision, I would have expected a bit more courtesy from *** staff. I ended up going with a preapproved loan elsewhere.BHG Financial

My experience with BHG Financial was absolutely terrible. The process was painfully slow from start to finish, and the communication—especially from Joseph T.—was beyond disappointing. I constantly had to follow up just to get basic updates, and even then, the information was vague or delayed. It felt like I was chasing them down the entire time. For a company that markets itself as a professional financial institution, the lack of urgency and poor customer service is unacceptable. I would not recommend BHG Financial to anyone looking for a smooth or efficient loan process.BHG Financial

They will send you offers of pre-approval and then deny you. I normally have an 800+ credit score, but had to use my credit cards to remodel some rental properties which dropped my score to about 720. They sent me a pre-approved offer for $22,000 to consolidate my credit cards and then denied me because my credit card usage was too high.BHG Financial
