      In Sep 2023, I signed a contract with KMR Roofing owned by ********************* for a roof installation project on my townhome in *******, **. My main point of contact at KMR Roofing was ***********************. The roof project commenced and the roof was completed according to KMR. However, the uplift test and none of required inspections were completed according to the City of Sunrise. Since Mar 29th, 2024, I have no longer been able to contact the contractor. ******** email address is deactivated and their business phone number redirects to another business ***** Roofing, who claims they acquired KMR. I had not been notified of such an acquisition prior to this date. I had to find this out from ***** directly. ***** refuses to finish the job that *** left incomplete. I have paid at least 90% of the agreed upon contract, but I am forced to hire and pay another roofing contractor to continue where KMR left off. If any of the inspections fail, I must find and pay a reputable contractor to address the issues, which could be thousands of dollars. In Nov 2023, one of KMRs trucks drove over and damaged a sewer line cap. My *** was forced to repair the sewer line cap to prevent risk of injury. The *** is billing me and my neighbor $420 for the repair since the sewer line cap lies in between our properties. ****** agreed over the phone to pay for the repair. I have recorded video footage of the sewer line cap incident. I highly suspect this situation to be a case for fraud. KMR knowingly sold its business and left customers high and dry to complete their ********************** projects, despite most of the contract being paid for. They also did not follow city regulations, bypassing the required inspections for roof installations. KMR has also lied, stating that the inspections were to be scheduled and completed, showing that they were aware of the inspections needed to be done, but neglected doing them because they most likely wanted a speedy installation to rush off and sell the company.
